Mr.Bean probably won't play the character(Mr.bean) again.What are your views?

Oh yes he was so funny and I remember him so well, sad that he won't do it anymore. I suppose a great many actors do get tired of a long time role. I can imagine that after a long break he probably does not feel up to doing it anymore. My boyfriend is an actor and loves live theater, but after the show running for 6 - 8 weeks it gets to be a bit much, as he says. So I am sure he probably feels the same way as he was on TV for a very long time.

there will never be another Rowan Atkinson. will definitely miss him if he finally says goodbye as Mr. Bean.

Hiya aw, It is a great shame that we won´t see him do any more Episodes of "Mr Bean" but I suppose that he must be tired of it like most of us think as well. He probably plans to do other things. Before that way before that he did a Series on BBC called "Black Adder" and I thought he was hilarious on that although I could only see him on youtube. We have´nt got English Television here so I go to youtube to see bits and pieces of the Series in English. I loved that ragged Teddy Bear he took everywhere with him as well. Oh well his long suffering Girl Friend in the Series that I was watching might stand a better chance now with perhaps a new Mr. Bean? Great Actor Rowan he is very funny just by himself.xxx

Yes, I've heard that too but I think he will still make movies but not as Mr Bean. He is my favorite too. I like the way he carries his role as Mr. Bean.He's like Charlie Chaplin before, makes you laugh without uttering a word and it can be understood.

How could be too old..I mean look at his face,every time I see it I start laughing...Mr.Bean will remain in the history.My friends don`t know the name of Rowan Atkinson so they call him Mr.Bean.This is the caracter who was born to play.I want to see him again on the big screen..

I have always loved watching Mr. Bean as he was so naive that it was funny. I can understand Rowan Atkinson not wanting to do it anymore because Mr. Bean was really physical. It is sad to see him go. But then there are always the DVDs if you want to watch it again and again.

Hi! I also like the character Mr. Bean. It would really sad if he won't play the character anymore but I think he has a point when he said he's too old to play as Mr. Bean anymore. Can you imagine a white-haired Mr. Bean? And he wouldn't be able to perform his antics with an aging body.

I love Mr Bean! When I was a kid, me and my family would watch him and it's also a nice bonding experience for us, me and my cousins watch him too. I will miss Mr. Bean and I would love to watch more Mr Bean episodes but we just have to accept the fact that everyone grows old.

Hello Awiral,I have watch one of his interviews in BBC and I didn't realize he's really been serious in real life. I believe Rowan Atkinson had mark himself in history of showbiz not only in Great Britain but for the rest of the world. but i think this wasn't his best movie, there was another but i have forgotten what it is. I think we should appreciate the cartoon version or just watch the 3d Version

oh... That's really bad news. He was one of the most successful comedians ever been. I will really miss him. Many episodes of Mr. Bean are just unforgettable.

I will undoubtedly miss Mr Bean. When I was a child, I used to 'wait' for him to appear on TV and now Rowan Atkinson is stepping down as Mr Bean :( There will not be another one like him. I will satisfy myself watching his shows on DVD.

What a bummer! I used to see Mr. Bean on PBS in the 90's and I have a VHS of the best sketches. Oh well - I can compensate with YouTube videos! I'll miss that character!
