I don't mind performing on stage. It's something that I like doing. However, I do feel shy when I have to talk in front of a class or something like that. It's really not something that i enjoy doing.

I was afraid to talk before people when I was younger. But the older I got the less it bothered me. Now it doesn't bother me at all. Of course if I were in front of thousands of people I'd probably be afraid.

I have that problem too, I can talk your ear off if it's only you and me but in front of a large group or people that are important like bosses I start to stutter and can't seems to talk right. I think it's you're afraid that they don't like what you're saying and that there is more than 1 person that will asked you questions and stuff.

I used to be shy until now. Now i'm ok, but sometimes I feel like I have nothing to say to people I don't know. It was a nightmare for me even to speak on the phone with unknown people. After two months spent in a Call Center now I'm better

Yes. I too had stage fears during my college days. I am very afraid to speak in front of any crowd. What gives me that feeling is that I should speak really well in front of others. But later I got suggestions from my staffs that nobody is perfect. While speaking in-front of any crowd, think that they are also the same as you. Humans tends to make mistake. Later I manage to speak in front of any crowd.

I was soo terrably shy my whole life. until i reached the age of21. or maybe it was before that lol! after i got my 2 bf(boyfriend) i slowly began to be unshy- but just a little. ppl would walk all over me and take advantage of me in a not-so-nice-way, like if they ask for money, id give it to them. they'd say something like ill pay u back..once when i was in high school this boy i liked asked me for $20, he told me he'd pay me back monday so i went up to him and asked him about it and he was like i dont owe u f*n nothing. and they all made fun of me. my sister ended up kicking his butt and she got expelled but she told me it was well worth it. they ended up dating in the end and the teasing just got worse...when i enrolled in job corps here in TX i slowly came out of my shell. im sure glad i did!!

Yes I do still feel shy around people and very wary of strangers. Even to the friends I know I just don't talk much I sometimes wished I could talk more. I think I am an introvert and also I am already quiet, shy and reserved. I pick up on things other people would overlook in a conversation. I hear banannas are good to eat before speeches because they are some sort of muscle relaxant try it.
