Do guys like this movie or not? They wouldn't admit it anyways.

I am a straight male that loves the movie the Notebook. When i admit this to other males and females, the woman think that is cool that i love that movie and the males tend to say it is a girly movie and i am stupid for liking it. I bet that most guys that have seen it love it but wouldn't admit this fact anyways. What do you think?

I think that deep down guys really do like this movie..they just don't want to admit it to other guys. My boyfriend asked if we could watch it together because he really wanted to see it. I was shocked and touched that he wanted to so of course I watched it. It's kind of a slow movie but the story is really nice and I think he liked it. He also asked to watch the movie Dear John with me and he really liked that one.

Admitting to their tender side could get them a lot of jokes from guy friends about being a wuss or girly for liking that stuff. I thought it was so sweet when my boyfriend watches that kind of stuff with me, it shows how much he cares and always makes me love him a bit more when he does sweet little things like that with me

My boyfriend likes this movie a lot. I gave it to him as a present after he found me 15 years after us losing contact. The last time we seen each other was when we were 16 years old and now our saying is that we are each others Notebook partners. I think that it is awesome when guys can be honest enough to say when they like romance movies. The guys who do come forward and say that they enjoy watching such movies are guys who are realistic and do not possess so much machismo that they lose base with the emotional side that all of us humans have. Nothing wrong at all with guys like these types of movies or admitting that they do. Those who are afraid to do so, or embarrassed, or simply close-minded and don't embrace their individual perception of their own likes and enjoyments. :)

i know a guy who really loves this movie too.. he watched it a lot of times and even wanting to find his own allyson too. :)

I admire my boyfriend for admitting to me that he likes this movie and that makes the two of you. In fact, he's the one who suggested that we should watch this movie and so we did. I like the movie too. Another Nicholas Sparks great work! I even asked my girlfriends from www.lifo.com to watch it too. At lifo site, I was able to share my views on our common interests such as beauty, fashion and entertainment.

I am a girl, I love the movie. And i recommended it to some of my friends, they all loved this movie and shed tears when they were wathching.I once talked this movie with a guy, I told him I liked the clip when Noah takes Allie on the boat in the splendid lake, surrounding by white ducks. I don't find out wether he like it or not, because I can't see or speak to him anymore.

Men like the movie but they don't like to admit it. It's the same with saying "I love you" - they feel it ever more then wemen but they just can't articulate the words.
My husband loves the movie but it took some time for him to admit it.
He once told me that if we were to end up old and forgetful, he would remember me...
