I was a senior in high school in 1966. A loaf of bread was 50 cents, a car cost $1800 for a Volkswagon bug, $2500-$6000 for other cars. I think a Cadillac was around $6,000. A vice president of a bank made $30,000. per year. You could fill your gas tank for $5.00. A skirt or blouse cost $3.00. An adult movie ticket was $1.25.
