Benefits of giving one tenth in your earnings

God said give your one tenth of your earning to god.While giving we should give with whole heart and not like that we are losing something.god will return all this in plenty and also bless us earthly and godly

Yes this is good idea to give one tenth of our earning for God. Because we are earn because the blessings of God. I know if God want then we may be rich person or may be poor. You are right we returned with blessings.

Hi ashok1!
For me I consider this more as an offering, or giving back to God what he had given us. We should always give with a thankful heart knowing that everything we have is just borrowed from God.
Philippians 4:19
"And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

I think that it is good to give money to charity as there are people in this world who need money a lot more than you do. You should only do it if you feel as though you have the money to spare though as you won't be helpful to anyone if you end up leaving yourself short of some of the things that you know that you need in your life. I currently donate 10% of my income to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which is a charity which is very close to my heart. I like to do this, as it allows me to think that I really am making a difference to the lives of other people, including some people who are very close to me.
