My daughter brought home a kiwi fruit from school yesterday. She told me that her assistant teacher gave it to her. She wanted to eat it right away, so I told her to wait. I placed the kiwi fruit inside of the freezer so that it could get much colder. About twenty minutes later, it was nice and cool for her to eat. I sliced it up and gave it to her. She loved it and so did I too. It was so very delicious. Once, I did not know what kiwi fruit was one time. When I was at the grocery store, I always saw this type of fruit, but it was brownish and greenish. I did not know that kiwi fruit looked like this on the outside. Once I found out that this was kiwi fruit, I started to buy many kiwi fruits. No one would ever know just from looking at it, that this type of fruit is so very delicious. I love adding lite salt on most of my fruits that I eat, but with a kiwi fruit, there is no need to add any salt to it, it is already tangy and sweet enough.

Nice of her having such a nice teacher!
Did you know that kiwi fruit is known as the largest producer of vitamin C among other fruits? And also is originally from China. I sometimes eat this fruit, it's refreshing like the cucumber but sweet. Now I kinda remember that I want one too.
Your discussions make me hungry. What's with you today about foods? Are you pregnant? Hahaha! sorry for barging in! LOL

It is so funny, because someone just posted a discussion on pregnancy. Is this your discussion, minimoyz? No, I am not pregnant at all. I have done a lot of shopping lately and I have bought many new items that are on the market. So, I want to know if anyone at myLot enjoys these products or if they have tried it yet.

Isn't it the best?! I love it too. I just cut it in two and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Yum! It is one thing that isn't good with other stuff. Maybe a raspberry but that's about it. I love the sweet and sour of them. And they are a very pretty fruit also. I sure enjoy them!

I love Kiwis too. They are very good for you too. My grandfather used to love to put salt on watermelon. He said it made it sweeter. When I was little I never really liked salt so I didn't try my fruit like that. Now I like salt but I have never been one to put it on fruit.

Mmmmm, I love kiwi!! They go great with strawberries if they are ripe enough (that's a cute color combo for Christmas parties). My hubby and kids don't care for kiwi that much, so we don't buy it often . . . but I do like to get them for myself from time to time. Really, you add salt to most of your fruits? My parents used to put salt on watermelon, so that's the only fruit I'm used to putting salt on.

I love kiwi, too! In fact, I had one last night. A sweet ending to a totally stressful day. And, I like the tangy-sweet combination, too. Plus it's very healthy. I think I even saw it listed under foods that help delay aging. Oh, I also love it when it is topped over frozen yogurt, yumm! Frozen yogurt topped with kiwi, mango and strawberry = heaven!!!

Kiwi fruit is a very healthy fruit as I have heard that it contains a lot of Vitamin C. However, sometimes I think it is not easy to buy good kiwi fruits. Sometimes they are sour and it is not easy for me to tell it from its look. This makes me confused and this is why I don't often buy this fruit.
I love China

I never have one my whole life too, and I am curious whether this kiwi taste as good as you described it. I want to try one or two next time me and my mom visit the supermarket. I would definitely get one and try it with my mom too.
