I don't even remember when was the last time I got hold of a yellow page directory. I also don't personally know any one who still uses it. We have a landline phone at home, but our phone provider doesn't give us yearly yellow page directory since our phone is connected with our cable.

I still do. Sometimes, what I'm looking for is not available in the internet so I use the directory. It's particularly useful in finding telephone numbers of local establishments.

Believe it or not, I have found that Yellow Pages still come in handy, especially if you are looking for a company in a particular industry and have no particular company name in mind. Unlike the post office that is about to be obsolete, the Yellow Pages, also currently online, still comes in handy.

I always keep an updated one handy, they are free for me so might as well take the opportunity, just in case i need a service that i'm too lazy to look up online. Usually easier just to flip through the pages than to get distracted rolling over things on the internet :)

believe it or not, we have a landline but we never get an updated telephone directory! i wonder if our local phone companies are stil producing one. my brother worked for yellow pages before but i think they have slowly transitioned to online yellow pages now.

though we have internet in the office, we still resort to the yellow pages from time to time. there are certain establishments, offices and other business firms and agencies that do not have webpages.

I have not used the yellow pages since 411, the operator and the internet. I use these now instead of trying to search through a phone book.

I rarely use a phone book sad but true. I usually use yellowpages.com and sometimes I call 411. generally because I would not know where to look for my phone book and partly because the numbers I need are from other places and would not be in my local phone book.

What do you think of all those people who have no pc at home and thus no access to internet. I still see people who pick up their yellow pages at the telecom store by the hundreds when the new edition arrives.
