I was watching a show that said that they are trying a new technique that cuts workout time in half and its still just as effective as working a fast pace workout for 40 minutes. The trick is to workout for eight seconds at fast pace, then for twelve second step it out, and repeat this process for 20 minute three times a day at least. I have got to know how effective this is.

Glade to help! I actually found it was cheaper to go to amazon rather than through the site itself plus I didn't have to worry about them taking more out of my account without my knowledge.

It sounds interesting, I would like to know the name of the method to investigate more about that.
And I would like to know if there is any risk of heart attack because when we make as fast movement and then stop make the heart stop suddenly it can produce a heart attack.
Well I hope you let me know the name of the program.
Thanks.

It sounds interesting, because the difference on the pace can increase the calories burned, but I think it would be really difficult to count the seconds. But, if the person don't have much time to workout, it's a good idea.

Yes this is so true! There are some people that have very busy schedules and don't get much time to themselves.

Dear MoneyWinner
I am rather puzzled that you don't have time. Who really has? The point is that are you practicing the 80/20 rule. Remember to do what is important first. Using 20% of your time that can get 80% results. This is the key to time management! Take time to be healthy. If not sickness will rob you of your time when you are least expected. Bear in mind the saying 'Time and tide awaits No Man" OK? Thanks. Love: Bro. Joe. GBU

The best i can elaborate is that they were showing during the workouts that they were using high intense workouts in 8 second intervals and then low intense walking for 12 and they kept repeating it. So work out real fast for 8 whole seconds and then just march in place for twelve and repeat it for 20 minutes only. There is a work out kits called firm express. I just cant afford it yet so, I am going to try it on my own first.

This is basically High Intensity Interval Training . By doing this you will be shocking your metabolism and burn fat all day long . This is in contrary to normal aerobics which stops giving results after some time . HIIT is similar to lifting weights as it is anaerobic ( you will be gasping for breath ) .
Normal aerobics has its benefits too but do give it a try and you will see definite results

I have had mine for a few weeks now and really feel the difference. I also have a work out machine and am using this technique with it as well. It really gets my heart racing.

Dear Jennifogg
There are a lot of gimmicks out in the market! We just cannot ape what people do or say. But the main thing is stick to the basics. Do you need to exercise to gain muscles or do you exercise to lose weight and increase your heart beats. If you need to exercise for muscle building then a session of 45 min. three times a week on weight training is good enough. But to increase your metabolism a session of 12 to 30 min. would be the max. However, it should be daily or at least three time a week. So the bottom line is whatever forms of exercise you do keep to the above principles. OK? RSVP & ASAP. Thanks a million. GBU.
