Australia is a country that I have visited twice in my life so far. I went to New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory the first time that I visited it. The second time that I went there I saw Western Australia. I was 20 to 21 years old the first time and 28 years old the second time. I went to New Zealand when I was 29 years old. Also on that trip at 29 years old I went to French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. When I was 20 years old on my way to Australia I visited Fiji.
The first of Australia's cities that I visited was Sydney. I loved seeing its harbor bridge and opera house. I was keen on seeing as much of Australia as possible that is why I went back a second time to see the west. I adored seeing the unique wildlife like kangaroos and cockatoos. Wow! I saw where the rain forest meets the sea in Queensland. Magical. Australia's population is around 20 million people.

I've just finished half a Geo Epoche about Australia, so although I don't know a lot, I know more about the history than when I started. I still have some articles left, one from each World War and then one about how the aborigines children were taken and placed in foster homes or orphanages.
I've got a friend in Wollongong so I do get occational updated on Australian climate and politics. They were far away form the last floods, but she tells some interesting things about Australian universities. (she works in one)

I know a lot about Australia because I live here :)
It's truly a beautiful place to live as it's so huge and so many different things to look at I could go on and on. When you have come and visit Austrlia you won't regret it. Also veggiemite is an aquired taste so most non-Austrlians don't like it after a while you get used to it. We also don't all talk like Crocodile Dundee/Paul Hogan in that movie.

I am working in a call center that serves Australian clients. I know that Australians are much nicer customers than Americans, they have a unique set of slang (50k out of woop woop being my favorite) and that their flag has a union jack. ftw! :)
