patience and perseverance works a lot when going into any kind of business. its not easy going into business these days. some business takes over a year to obtain an ROI (return on investment). hard work also works best for any business person. the greatest obstacle that i encountered while going into business is competition and i encountered a lot... what i did was i just persevered and did not give up at all and i competed in a descent way by giving excellent service and giving quality product and it paid of.. it busted the competition.

Yes. I am not the type of person to give up. I keep hammering threw. I have always had a mind state of i need to be better, but i learn from the ones that are better than me, and make what they do to succeed to fit how i do things, and make it work for me. As well as learn from mistakes that i have made in the past, and that i will make in the future.

Basically you have already determined the nature of your business. You haven't mentioned which line of business you are in.Please make a list of potential customers. Then see who your competitors are.Study the advantages and drawbacks of your product as compared to others.Make nice presentation of how to promote your product, which you will deliver to your potential clients. The main obstacle is newcomers don't have sufficient finance, hence they ought to choose the line of business they wish to enter judiciously. One has to make a market survey before entering a new business. One has to utilize the resources at hand optimally as a new businessman has less at his disposal when compared to an existing business.

That's nice to hear that you have started your own business, you're working out your dream and not someelse's dream. But you said, you are starting to get discouraged. May I know first what kind of business you are in to?
