THIS WHOLE TIME
Oh, my GOD all this time! she even put note on patients who didn't pay for her services on teeth removal, now she's considered illegal!
I can't believe it! It's been years. She has done a lot of service to me; like putting the jacket crown back, cementing my teeth hole, removing some rotten and her latest was making my dentures.I was even planning to have my 2 teeth removed.
Then just this afternoon, She was caught for having NO LICENSE! No wonder i have a BAD Feeling of going to her clinic
For the mylotters in the Philippines: Better watch GMA-7 tomorrow, this was our Neighbor Dentist.
PS: I should known i should been an Usisero(observer) there
Unbelievable i kept seeing this dentist in our neighborhood.
Anyways, am surprised because my house is 3 kiosk before her clinic

I have done dental treatments with an unlicensed dentist as a kid,and haven't realized that she's actually unlicensed until recently.Guess what? She even made braces for me.I think it's not the scarriest thing becausse she was educated in dentistry but was not just license. The worst thing to happen is if you had dental treatments from poeple who does not even have formal education in dentistry like some kind of religious groups.

Hello kareem, What is so hard for them to get a license when they are earning from their patients? this is far dangerous than a person going in the dentistry and robbing the dentist because we trust them our teeth and it's safety. I think it's best to go to the dentist and not like those who are differ in education like religious groups.

That unlicensed dentist would have wanted to get license but the problem is she have not passed the exams given by the Professional Regulation Commission(PRC) board of dentistry which is required to fully practice her profession. At least, she may have skills from her education and training.I think she's not just one.I heard a lot of stories of unlicensed professionals posting as licensed especially in the metros.

Wow, that is something new. But as long as your teeth are fine right now, you should be okay with it. I hope that she should be punished without carrying a legal license and practice dentistry for neighborhoods. So, what is the legal standard in your country, would they allow barefoot doctor practice treatment on patients too?

Hello Kingparker, Well, the dentures were done well. I'd be careful with that from now on knowing that she's no longer my dentist. and I've heard that she's had a lot of unpaid rent to her land lord. am just glad that she got caught, she never gave any kind of discount to us, and my moms always want to avoid going to her for consultation

My husband just had some teeth pulled and we swear the guy who did it was a fraud also but we are not sure because he works for a reputable company.

Very true. You just don't know if people are legit anymore or not even though they claim to be and submit false documentation.

Hello ashok, that's really something that patients and clients should avoid in the future. who knows what damage might get through your health. be careful whom you consult with, have a nice day

Maybe she did graduate dentistry but did not pass the government board examination. That's better than if she was really just a poser and knew nothing about dentistry at all!

Hello Bhabycatch, I wouldn't know if I didn't asked mom about it she didn't come home right away because the land lord there is our neighbor and she was shocked because of this. i guess she did have a lot of mistakes, so many that soome one reported her already. well, that's her fault for being too GREEDY

It is illegal, but by having "No Licence" doesn't mean she hasn't any skills at all, I think
Maybe she is too lazy to get it, the way to get it is too complicated, or any other reasons.
She had done a lot of service to you, and I guess there's no big problem and you are satisfied so far, right?
But it is always good to take more precaution, so I think you should check your teeth to "Licensed" dentist now. Then let's see whether that fake dentist is skillful or not.. :)

True. I think they are required to have these licenses regardless though.

Hello varier, Yes, there is a possibility that either she forgot or choose not to renew her license i can see that she did graduate on her degree. but that is her mistake, she should have renewed her license if this true. she probably made a lot of mistakes on other dentist that resulted other people to report her.

Yes, I agree. In this case, I think this fake dentist has some skill about teeth. But if we let it happen again, then, there may appeared a "dentist" which even don't know how to brush teeth properly .
License is important. And glad that the fake dentist already being busted :)

Hello peavy, Probably soome did a bit of investigating on this and probably that's why she was taken by surprise. I've been hearing rumors but not confirm if she is in jail or had been transferred to another prison.

Oh. Well at least you can be happy she was caught.
But there is something I hope you know. Doctors and dentists usually have to renew their license to practise every year. I'm not sure how often they have to renew it in your country though. So hopefully it's not that she had no prior education in the dental field. She may have just not renewed her license for some reason.

Hi, LetranKnight25. Oh that is so bad! This woman was performing many dental related procedures on your teeth... Wow! I would be very worried and upset. This would definitely make me question how my teeth have been filled, cleaned and what not. I guess it is probably necessary if all dentist's have a legitimate plaque specifying that they are licensed by the state to perform any dental procedures on all of their patient's teeth. It is a good thing that patients did not pay for her services because she is not licensed anyway. Do she really think that she will get paid for any dental work that she has done with a dental license! You and any other patient of hers can use her for malpractice!

Hello cream97, All of her services were fine and very encouraging indeed. maybe her mistakes had caused her to be reported and investigated by different people whom she used to be patients with. She's been nice to us and at one time she even considered discount or payment as installment since we were neighbors, sad though she didn't renew her license.

i still remember the first and so far the last time we met at MOA.
it's your teeth that kept you from coming.
but you were actually the first to come.
now i know, you have the reason for not coming though.
anyway, good thing she was caught.
ate pat says, hi to you.
zay says thank you for the robot.

Just because she had no licence does not mean that she was a bad dentist. I mean look you kept going back to her office for more work, I doubt all the work she has done on you happened all in one day! So she got caught without a licence big whoop. Did she harm anyone? I do not see why you feared going to her office then continued to go

Hello Amanda but i have some goosebumps when ever i go to her clinic for some reason. this is probably her karma for not giving quality service to other dentist. her pasta cement didn't last long btw. I think she harmed our helper when she took out the wrong tooth but she didn't complain. she probably did the same thing and she was investigated.

hi knight my friend, did you go to that dentist before dating that girl you were talking about in your other post?, just kidding friend, seriously I think medical malpractice is one of the most terrible things that can happen cause it could put people's life in danger, seems to be growing in number from beauty clinics to child delivery etc..glad it was exposed and it's nice we have programs that exposes these frauds and quacks. ok I will watch GMA-7 tomorrow so I can have a peak at your neighborhood

That would be scary. I guess there may be some unlicensed dentists who had some of the classes or maybe all of them who might have missed a few questions and not passed the licensing exam. It's also possible that this person is skillful as dentistry, but bad at taking exams. We will hope no harm was done, and that you next dentist will be fully qualified. Sounds like the worst that can happen to you is that a filling might fall out or something. If you'd had a root canal or implant, though, I'd be worried.

Hi Letran Knight: Oh my god, that's really a creepy story. How did she do all this time to cover everything. It's too creepy for me, specially because it could happened an accident because she wasn't prepared and she hasn't all the knowledge because she was not actually a professional. It's just incredible.
