Long arms.....?

Now you can call me crazy but I swear my arms gotten longer in the last few years.. They used to go a little past my waist and now it seems like they half way down to my knees. I think carrying groceries every day after work {sometimes 4-6 bags} have stretched my arms. Could that be possible? Do you feel like parts of your body are becoming bigger or smaller then they used to be? Watch your language now

It's more likely your spine has started sagging. How is your posture?

Hey...you're too smart, I think that's more likely. My pasture always been kinda bad. I'm pretty tall and when I was younger I always walked slummed over .

WOW :O that's quite new for me, do you mean from shoulder to your finger tips it past your knees? i mean that's not proportion to your other body parts ~_~ but well still goodluck go to your doctor there must be an abnormal cell or bone growth going on your body.

Noooooo, not past my knees that would be crazy long. Between my waist and my knees. It just seems like they grew an inch over the last few years.

Hi missy!I could give you lots of responses to this one! Don't think my arms have grown, but you might be right. I've been carrying things on my shoulder for so long I have an indentation on my right shoulder from my "shleping bag" (big shoulder bag" that I always carry my handbag and whatever else I can put in it! I think my ears have gotten bigger and they were big enough to begin with! (I think that's a sign of "old age" (one of many annoying ones). But, the main thing that I know has grown is my "mid-section" and that pisses me off the most! I once had a nice body when I was about 30 years younger and that depresses me big time. My birthday is in two weeks and I can't believe I will be turning 59~Now that is really something to be upset about! I don't know where the time has gone and I don't know who "the old lady in the mirror is". Not a good feeling. I try to avoid mirrors as much as possible except when I'm putting on makeup and even then without my glasses on I really can't see what the hell I'm dong anyway

You sound like you're a beautiful lady....I always had big ears so I know how that is and even though I lost a lot of weight in the last couple years my mid section seems to be just as big

Wow, personally I have never heard of arms stretching or getting longer. I don't think that could be possible, but then again you never know.

I'm sure they didn't really stretch but sometimes I wonder after a lifetime of heavy stuff.

Before anything else, I want you to know that I like you're last two sentences. Makes my mind wander. Anyway, I literally stood up and observed where my fingertips land. And, they land between waist and knees. I think it's pretty normal. Maybe you're just growing and part of that is the extension of the extremities. Somehow in time, our body parts will be proportional to our height and weight. We're just growing up. Don't worry. :)

I guess it could be possible. There are those stretching therapies that I have heard of that are supposed to make people taller..lol. I haven't noticed anything getting longer but now I am going to be in front of the mirror trying to see.

Although I am not sure scientifically but I think as we get older somehow we slump a bit in our stance. Meaning that you may have heard someone say that as they gotten older that they are shorter. Not really true but that they are slumping over a bit, so perhaps with the slumping that may not be noticeable the arms are just appearing as if they grew longer when in fact they probably didn't.

Really? how can that be possible, I have known that having carrying weights as in gym only builds your muscles but can not lengthen the bones..

It probably can't but it sure feels like it every time I carry all those heavy bags.
