I am finally at peace with myself that I can get back into the game. I am a single mom, was at one point after having my child a fitness model, than stress, life, medications made me gain the weight back, as well as my contribution because it does not happen by itself, those are just contributing factors. I went threw my closet and packed up all my fancy expensive clothes that were putting me into a depression because they no longer fit, and put them in storage determined to get back into them in the near future, but the depression is stopping me from doing it.
So here is my shout to the world, I will probably blog about it, just have to get it all set up, but I am back, crossfit watch out!

I know just how you feel! Looking at the photos after my stay at my daughter's house for Christmas 2010 I was horrified to see how much weight I had put on.
I had turned 60 just before Christmas and I was really feeling the extra weight that I had piled on over the last 18 months to two years.
I knew that the only way I could possibly lose the weight was to return back to Weight Watchers and attend meetings, in my opinion the only sure way of losing the weight.
I have had a long association with Weight Watchers and became a gold member in 1981 after losing 9 stone. Sadly age, health and family problems had taken their toll and here I was - 30 years later - bigger than ever!!I decided to follow the new ProPoints system and I am pleased to say that today I have so far lost 77 pounds and am feeling great! I still have around 30 more pounds to lose but I KNOW that I'll do it, and this time for good!!

I have read about we ight watchers but never used them. is it expensive?age and diabetes got me into this mess and i want to look good again and feel good as at 85 I still care, a lot.my doctor says only lose six pounds a month but I will take that if I can just do it. lol.

There are several ladies of your age and also with diabetes at my meeting and it is a very sensible way of losing weight, the plan is actually very like the one you get from the dietician for your diabetes( I too am diabetic) I pay a monthly pass which covers meetings and online facilities too, this costs me almost £20 a month (around $15)once you get to goal you don't pay so long as you go no more than 5 pounds over goal. I would really recommend it!

Good job success stories are always nive to hear. Weight loss is a tedious task that takes a lot of drive and motivation. We hit points where we feel that it is just not working. But trust yourself and keep going and you will succeed its mind over matter. Every lrogram out there is not for everyone. That is something that we have to remember..... But when there is a will there is away...

It´s a good idea to put your old clothes away. Try to put your depressive thoughts away with the clothes and look at your baby when you start feeling blue. And GO!!! Start little by little, don´t worry if you slim down a tiny bit at first: each ounce means something. You will regain your life will you walk with your child around the block

You have to wait ant give yourself some time while doing some special excercises specially for waistline. And remember, hip change forever after the first baby. It´s one of the costs of having the beautiful children.

hi ljames85 I feel for you as I have gained weight since I came to Gold crest as I am diabetic and was cooking my own meals here I am at the mercy of the cooking staff. so I have to cut carbs and as I had a bad fall in February I am still using a walker and not getting any real exercise so I am 200 pounds and only five foot two, eyes of blue green.lol but losing at least 15 percent of my overweight would make it easier for me to control my blood glucose not to mention lift my morale a lot. You will lose weight as you want to look good and feel good and get over your depression too.you will win it eventually and I will bet if you lose five I will also work on losing five, keep in touch. hatly here hugs from hatley.
