A $ a day

I am setting that low a goal for me to start off. I find that to be pretty realistic for me considering my time, other works and the opportunity to earn. There are many writing sites around but not many cater to those outside US - as one of the below discussion points out. I am from India and as far as India or its users are concerned, we don't have any survey chances or upfront payment for articles etc.
Even the earning through blogs is too low unless we get better clicks from US or Canada.
So what do you think, a dollar a day is fine? What's your experience?

Have you ever heard of online freelance jobs? Having an online part time job from those sites you can earn $1-20 per hour. If you have the skills and you are a hardworker and can convince an employer, you can earn a decent money. Try visiting this site to know more about those online freelance jobs. http://www.onlinejobsforyou-yayang0405.blogspot.com

Share trading or binary options trading is lucrative, but there is equal chance of us losing everything there. I made good profit but fell down at the same speed:(
I've learnt the lesson that Only hard earned money stays! yes, $1 a day is enough for doing something that interests us. Be contended :P

Great.. Then i think you can get many platforms to write. But I am not well informed about it. I tried getting some freelance jobs to write articles online but couldn't get one and I didn't fit into their criteria as well..
Mylot is a fairly good platform as we can make friends also and would get to learn a lot from them.

Yes, freelancing is a good and great job. I advocate it against any job offered to me. I am a member of some freelancing sites out there and got good offers after bidding. I am happy that I could fit into their criteria .
As far as you are concerned, don't get disheartened. Internet is a big place to be and there is something for everyone. Add me as a friend and we can get along.

Well, you know, I would never be going for any sort of investment at least at this juncture. And by the way, the options you told me are not what I really love. Writing gives me a lot of solace and job satisfaction as well.

I think that is a good goal for mylot. It can be done. I don't make near that much here, just pennies a day. I use the site for downtime and breaks. It is something different and I pick up some good tips here for other sites that I may be interested in. Good luck!

Well, I don't really think that the $ is only from mylot to earn from. Actually, I never thought of that when I asked the question. But nevertheless, that is a good option to try to earn a dollar in a day from the site. Thanks for giving me a good idea, mate!

I think that it is very easy to earn $1 online, however you have to think about whether it's really worth your time with the thing that you're doing. If you have a regular job as well, then you should know that you would probably be able to make this amount of money per day by simply working for an extra ten minutes. If you hope to make that amount online, chances are you'll be working for a lot longer than ten minutes so you should try not to get carried away and think about just how little you're willing to work for.

@GemmaR,
I don't know under what circumstances you are saying that earning $1 is a 10 minute affair. If that were so easy, I have scores of those "10 minutes" on my hand, because, after all writing is what I do. But if you are suggesting anything other than that, then I would love to know what it is.
Secondly, I am not yet open for any type of investment so to say. But still thanks for your info.
@Varier,
It would be nice if you also put in some thoughts so that the more we share,the more we will know and ultimately be benefited.

Just make sure that you are posting a lot, and that you post quality content. There are some days that I do really well on here, and others that I do not. I have not quite figured out the formula that mylot uses to decide what you earn. Also, use Mylot search. sometimes they give you a bonus for the searching that you do through them. can't hurt to try.

@Asyria,
When I said about earning a $ daily, I meant it to be from from all sources. Sources like mylot, where we see our earnings getting accumulated as and when the earnings are updated. Yeah, I know that I should be posting a lot and with something of quality to keep the earnings going. Most of the things are similar between us, it seems. There are days for me too, when I really do good here. But of course, for that I have to devote my time here and I do that. Whenever I feel like taking a break, mylot is the place where I come. Just reading discussions gives me pleasure.
Yes, I do like to search on mylot, but as I am not used to it, I tend to forget it. The last time I searched, I got 5 cents. And yes, you have mentioned your earnings here. I hope you have not violated mylot's TOS. Please be careful.
@Varier,
I hope by asking how much you earn, you have not violated the mylot's terms. I don't think, it would be good to either ask that or tell about it to anyone in discussions. Please be careful.

Come to think about it, I am just curious, have you ever earned a dollar a day from myLot? Excluding from tasks, excluding from search rewards, only from discussions?
I haven't reach that much up to now, and eager to know whether someone other ever reached a dollar a day. Have you?

As I am repeating again, that is the amount I am realistically setting for myself. In one sense though, I am earning somewhere around that amount as I am writing for a site. However, I could like to add to that amount and that's what I am trying to push myself for.
I am surprised how you can say that writing and commenting is a waste of time. Remember one thing friend, nothing goes waste in life. It depends on how you look at it.

yes, writing here is not a waste. For instance, people like me don't post and comment on every discussion they come across just to make money. I reply to discussions that interests me or only if i feel like commenting and I carefully read all responses.
Abhi, If it doesn't violate TOS of mylot, could you please tell me about that site that you are writing for?

Yes, I am glad that you are careful about the fact of being safe and within limits. There are various definitions on mylot if you can post links or not, I guess. And I am not too sure of them. It would be better if you add me as a friend. I have added you as a friend. Get in touch with me there. I will be more than happy to help you.

Very often I feel that people claim that they earn hundreds of dollars a month online just to get referrals. Otherwise it is diffuclt to earn much online unless you have some very active hardworking referrals under you. And for us Indians the earning options are much less.

hello abhi, i am an indian to and for us i recommend you mylot.com and triond for articles both these sites will not discriminate you from being a US resident or an indian resident, they pay you well, and as far as surveys are considered almost most of the survey programs are scam instead do some tasks in mylot.com it will fetch you alot.
good luck,
happy mylotting.

A dollar a day in myLot only or in earning online? I think it is pretty much attainable and easy to do. You can earn a dollar a day in myLot if you do tasks and participate well in discussions. The myLot search engine can ease it up some more if you are lucky enough. That is a nice start for you. It is nice to know that you have a goal which can really give you direction towards earning online. Some people don't have a goal in online earning and they ended up quitting before they already start doing so.

Yes friend, it's money after all and that's what matters the most. Do you get any writing jobs there? Why don't you be a member of some freelancing sites out there? I saw that there are many people from your country who are doing good by getting self employed.
