I have few dollar in paypal. I plan to keep it for a long time and pick it up if there's more. IN your opinion, is it safe to save money on paypal for long time?

Yes, I do not see why not. Just make sure you have a safe password and don't give your user details to anyone who should not have them.

Paypal is a safe system. However I would suggest that you do not leave a bulky sum pending in there just in case. But you should be aware that if you wish to withdraw money to your card there is a charge/fee.
If you are a person who likes shopping online you can always pay for your purchases from your paypal funds. Most sites accept paypal payments. It is a good idea to avoid leaving money in there and to avoid withdrawals.

yes it is safe to keep money in paypal for a long time, paypal has been online for over 12 years now and has never lost anyones money so its safe, if you have a alertpay account you could invest in a HYIP program and get profit but that can be risky.

As long as we can keep the password safely, then I believe it is really safe to save money on Paypal. It is including but limited to: beware of keylogging and phishing, use password that is different with password we used when we signed in to another website.
And also we have to try our best to follow Paypal TOS, or they may limit our account, making us unable to send/withdraw our money.
While it is safe enough to save money in Paypal, I prefer to transfer my Paypal Balance to my Bank. Somehow I like "real money" more instead of "virtual money" ..

Paypal is a very safe place to hold your money. It is like an online bank account in many ways. If it was not safe I don't think paypal would be around as long as it has. No worries. Your money is safe! Good luck getting more in your account.
