waste time for useless status

ooohhh, let it my friend. it just for their expression. if they have grow up, they will see if that was an useless word. btw, i do that too. just for get their attention. i thing that on their mind, just to get attention from other people.

I agree with you. Sometimes they even put as a status on where their located at the moment. For example " name went inside name mall" or "name went inside the toilet"... I also don't get why they need to post whatever their doing as if others care! hahaha... but if you're going to check it most of the peeps who posts nothing but rubbish are the young ones. Since they don't have anything else to do at home they just post and post in facebook. I don't use facebook that much unless I'm checking some messages sent by friends or if one of the online sellers have products that I can buy. Just don't bother on the status of other people. It would only ruin your day!

I am not on Facebook much anymore, but I agree that if you are going to post a status, it should serve some sort of point. These type of posts like you mention are pointless, and annoying. I don't really understand them unless it is someone simply wanting attention.

I don’t know…I don’t understand why people spend so much time on Facebook anyway so that the status changes to the ridiculous! I think mine just says, “married’, pretty boring ha? For a lot of people it is just another way to get attention and some are just for the shock value…

Haha I don't know. I never have seen them "hot" statuses on any of my facebook friends. I would just ignore them if I saw anyway though Well when I have nothing better to write on there, I just write some lyric of songs that I like haha and then my friends go and think I am in love or something.

Hey there! You`re totaly right, people use to post kind of ``stupid`` statuses. Like they`re bored or what they`re doing atm. Facebook has changed a lot than before. I think people should use it to chat with friends or play some games with them, not share a picture of yourself half naked in your barthroom. Personally I think Facebook should shut down since it lost it`s meaning :)

I have noticed this also. People waste alot of time in Facebook.

Yes, it's a waste of time. And I guess they just wanted to catch attention from the public. How pity. Another also is when I read something that is very personal, like quarreling somebody or let's just say wanted to tell a hint of something.

Hi adhyz: Oh I know what you mean. As you have mentioned, sometimes I think people use their status on Facebook as a way to get some attention but at the same time I have to say that I enjoy to read the status of my friends. There are some good sentences that makes you think about these important subjects of life and also there are people who really use them for good and they write wise messages. ALVARO

I also don't understand people who post status that are really out of the ordinary. Sometimes other post status ever 5 minutes or so just to get their friends attention. I feel sorry for them as well. If they wanted to get everybody's attention well, yes they have it, but then, they will also be laughed at for posting such crazy status.

NOthing is useless so long it catches attention. Nothing is boring since we have the choice to respond or ignore it. Most happenings in facebook are done in the name of fun. When everybody doesn't know everybody, that's the best place to play along. Though it can lead to misunderstandings, but ultimately, those get hurt are the ones really believing in it.

I found it a lot every time I log in into facebook. Little bit annoying but that Facebook are for ...... talking nonsense. If users talk little bit serious, they gonna use phone or meet somewhere. Don't you agree with me ...?

Most people use Facebook or another social networking to share their mind. Well, I think now we know about things that lay on their minds :p And also at least we can identify the character of a person by reading his status updates - either it is useful or useless xD. Anyway, please don't be bothered. You can always remove that status updates that annoys you from news feed, hehe :).

adhyz82, I suppose this is the main reason why we should not easily befriend people on Facebook who eventually turn out to devious individuals. Not only will you be reading explicit comments, you will also be letting them into your private world and good genuine friends.

That's right. I can't stand my sister who sits in front of her computer and make silly statuses like "why don't you believe anymore?" or "I really bored right now!!", then she'll wait till someone comments or "like" on her statuses. I don't understand what makes she feel so happy just because someone "like" her statuses. I don't really like commenting on facebook. I only play facebook games. It's more fun ^_^.

Yes,it also annoys me to see useless status like,''I am eating ice cream...so delicious.''Those and many other kinds of status just don't sound good to my ear.By the way,I don't care if they are eating ice cream,or going to mall or having meal.lol. Just don't take it too serious so you won't get heart attack.I no more use facebook a lot.I am now here in mylot.I like it more.The discussions have meaning unlike cliche status in facebook.

That's totally true! Some of them just use curse words to get attention and honestly they should keep it to themselves. I feel you, when you say they just want attention.Specially some pictures some people take. But what I'm going to do is erase people i'm not close to and just have people I know or have talked to before.
