Photos, I don't know. Clipart, I know two places: http://www.clker.com/ and http://www.wpclipart.com/ - they both have a load of stuff that'd be usable.
Try searching for "public domain" photos/images. Anything in the public domain is free to use and the search term will usually bring up some neat stuff.

No - I'm what you might call "creatively challenged". I suck at that kind of thing!

That's exactly what I use 'em for, Kry - free images for blog posts.

i've worked on zazzle going on 7 years-um..there's places you can buy images to use, like istockphotos..then you can also look for royalty free images such as book engravings over a certain age in public domain.
this might be a good place for you to start.

Scarlet - thank you so much for the information. I started to try and create something in zazzle but have put it on hold since I am not entirely sure that what I am doing is right. I guess you have had some good luck there since you have been with them for so long. Any tips that you could pm me?

I honestly don't know of any sites on the internet where you can find any photos that are not copyrighted. Instead, what I would do is to take my own images and use those because I would be certain that no one else held the rights to my own artistic work. I am more of the person that would rather be safe than sorry when it comes down to things and I would never even run the risk of stealing someone else's work.
