Did anyone catch the Terra Nova polite last night? I was glued to the tv as I watched th 2 hour pilot. This is years best Sci Fi
The year is 2041(?) and the earth is so polluted that people are using breathing masks. The scientific community manage to find a way to send a certain few back to dinosaur time to start a new life. For very good reasons. Needless to say it was really good scifi
The CG is awesome and if you are a sci fi peep would will like this show. It has the action for the guys and the social engagement the gals enjoy. As for kids it has rocken CG dinosaurs!
In my opinion this is an awesome show!

My daughter watched this show. She absolutely loved it. It had amazing graphics and a great story line. If you haven't seen it yet my daughter says you just have to figure out a way to do so.

I did not catch this one but I would like to. I always think that someday we will all need breathing masks to survive, at the rate pollution is going. Of course, time travel has always been appealing to me. I don't often watch sci fi, it has to be really good (Twilight Zone, Tales from the Dark Side stuff).

Time Travel has always fasinated me too, there is something appealing about it. If you could what would do, where would you go. And this show seems to have that in mind, travel back to a cleaner time, and add dinosaures and interesting characters. I am hoping the next few shows will be as interesting to watch. I look forward to the next airing of the show!

I just started watching it on my Roku. Very cool, engaging, well-written TV. Hardly seen anymore. It's shows what all TV can be. Too bad most of it is reality shows and stupid, mindless programming.

I was hoping I would like it but I had some worries about just how they would handle the science side and getting the supplies, like the vehicles shown in the trailer, to them. Well the science part was handled by it being an alternate time line so it doesn't change history. This means of course that the present polluted Earth cannot be saved but that some people have the chance to start over and do a better job. As far as the supplies, they keep sending migrations as they call them, the Shannon family is part of the tenth migration, so they must keep sending supplies to support the new arrivals and to maintain some stuff sent before. The people sent are also expected to fend for themselves to a great extent since they are farming and mining iron. It does have a lot of action and dinosaurs and some intrigue with a renegade migration and the son of the leader having gone off on his own and, apparently, having found a way to survive.

I watched and really liked it. My husband even liked it and he usually thinks these kind of movies are silly..(he thought both follow ups to Jurassic Park were ridiculous).
I liked the scenery and the concept...I am so lookng forward to this series and have it set up on my DVR

I had heard alot about this show prior to its airing and was really looking forward to watching it. I am happy to say that I wasn't disappointed. It was really good. My 3 year old, who loves dinos, thought it was awesome (his word). He's already asking when a new episode will come on. This show has definitely made the watch list for this fall in my house.

Here it started at 9 pm which I was disappointed in, my 5 1/2 year old would have loved to have seen it but it was on a school night :( I am hoping the time slot would drop! It hit my watch list too.
It's so much fun to watch kids get involved with dinosaurs. Mine has 5 dinosaur stuffies and small collect of dinosaur books, a few plastic dino toys and that is pretty cool for a girl!

We DRVed it so we could watch it at a better time. Otherwise my son would have never gotten to see it either. He was super excited about the dinosaurs though, he was telling me the names of the few that were in the show. I was very impressed. Evidentally Dino Dan (a show on Nick) has taught him alot about dinosaurs.

What kind of channel was it on? Had not heard of it and Nick and I would probably both have liked it.
He is dinosaur crazy, and likes shows like that
What is the name of the show?
It looks like Terra Nova polite?
Let me know
Maybe I can find it to watch what I missed on TV on the computer
Thanks

I saw the trailer for this show just yesterday and had no absolute idea that it was airing the same night
Anyway I found it to be really interesting actually and maybe will watch the show if I find them somewhere online.
