No your not being hustled cause you do have to pay a fee for them to submit it, cause if you do not pay a fee other companies could steal your idea and you will not get paid for your invention. Trust me pay the fee. My cousin put in a invention, I forget what he submitted but he asked and they said so other companies cant steal it from you.
What did you submit though for a idea?
Happy Mylotting!! :)

Thanks madman22. i just didn't want to be hustled. i was hoping i wasn't making a bad choice by paying for the services. my invention idea has to do with the tank building and ship building industry. i had actually manufactured several device's to help speed up production and cut down on personnel injuries. my fellow workers told me to submit my ideas. and then i got laid off. but i've been a disabled veteran for some time now. and just decided to pursue the idea. the invention idea place was really excited about it. i submitted over 7 products for review. they are looking into making a all in one device.

I really don't think this sounds like reputable business practices. I would be worried and would not be too quick to submit any money to them. It sounds like they are simply trying to make a quick buck. Also be careful where you post discussions...I don't think this one belongs in the "facebook" category.
By the way, welcome to mylot.
