I have always wondered how it would happen, In my head proabably is I get a winning ticket in the lottery and all of a sudden Im so totally rich the first thing that I would do is pay off all my debts, check in to a hospital off course my immediate family included and set for a battery of exams and tweaks like getting braces for my teeth have eye surgery, because my eyesight sucks, and maybe a couple of aesthetic surgeries, and then I'll hit the property market and get a nice small property at the suburbs were I can see myself raise a family in the future and set up a 2 story not living large kinda house but is complete and is easy to maintain just incase the money goes away faster than it came and then off to the car shop I''l get an 8 seater SUV just incase the future family becomes a little too big and a sports car nothing to expensive a hyundai coupe was on my mind looks good but not really a fast car just a show car and gas fo it is cheap since its only 2.0 liters so it's manageable in the future, and then i'll put my money in 3 of the major banks here in our country, get savings, a debit card and a checking account. I''l probably set-up a poultry farm in a nearby province I know a cousin who can run that kind of thing but don't have any money he is trusthworthy so he'll be perfect, and buy off some stocks with known companies here in our country I' try to just put in a good amount but nothing that if i loose im goner, then a business that can give me good amount of income without that much work, put-up a 3 story fully functional self sustaining apartment, most of it's electronic security is run by alternate solar power and regular electricity, it uses keycards and has full parking and Keycards are checked by guards it shows the owners face and I'll make sure that the rent is cheap yet I'll make good money out of it. Then I'll get health and death insurance so as to not burden my future family once I got to the light some 60 years after. So that's it that's what I would I'll set-up my life to be not over the top yet still getting all I need and of course charity is good at the if we all get to a high point we should give back luck in life has always been made to share otherwise it's a lonely place up there at the top.
You what would you do with all of that doe just in case?

The thing that I would do is pack my things up and move away. Move far away from Ohio Then pay all my bills off. Build my dream house. Buy 3cars. Then I will go on a trip.

I´d do nothing, I suppose. Because to win the lottery you have to buy a ticket. And with my luck, I would not buy a ticket for all the money in the world. The most I have won at a casino was once, when playing with cents, I won about $50. I was elated.

First of all I would get rid of our debt and get our basement fixed, then I would give some money to my parents, my brother, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law and to some of my close friends. I would also donate money to different kinds of charity. There are a lot of different things that I would like to support and if I had a lot of money I would definately donate money to some of those places. The rest of the money I would spend on travelling and I would travel as much as I could and visit some of the places that I have always dreamed about.

You are going to need a lot more than one million dollars to do all of that. For me, I would instantly pay off my mortgages and credit cards. All I want for myself is a walk-in tub. For the rest, I have to make sure I have enough to cover all of my expenses for 5 years, plus have a large emergency fund. After that, I will see what I can do to help others.

I would pay off our house, put money in accounts for our children's college, pay off my parent's cc debt, have a new windows and doors put on my MIL's house, then put half of what is left into retirement for my husband and I, and the other half of what is left I would give it away to people who need it.

Well, if all of a sudden I become a millionairre then first I am going to pay all my debt so I dont have to worry about spending all the money and still got debt. Lol. This is really cool. Set aside money for your basic needs, like shelter, clothing and ect for the whole family. Maybe half of it, give it to the orphanage because I really like kids and I want them to be educated and i want those children who have cleft palate to have a surgery or other children who have health problem. Every time I see children in the street I always wish I am sooooooooo rich so I will be able to send them to school or give them a chance of having a good life. It's so short but I think that's what I am going to do. Do the things that makes you happy.

The first thing I would do is travel. There are so places I have always wanted to go but have never been able to. My husband and I have been together almost 10 years and we still haven't been on a proper vacation. We have gone on a few weekend getaways though. I would book a 14 day cruise and travel first class. We would have the vacation of a life time. When it is over then it time to return to real life and plan for our future. But first, let's enjoy ourselves a little now that we can!

I have a lot of things that I want to do with my life, and I know that I would be able to do a lot of them if I was a millionaire. I want to own a couple of properties, and I would spend around a third of that amount on properties to rent out which would mean that I had a good income. Then I would buy a house for myself and my partner and plan to have a baby. I would want my child to be in private education, and would spend a fair amount of money on that, plus University fees if my child decided that they would like to go. I wouldn't really want to spend all that much money on myself, as I think that it is much better to be able to see the benefits that other people can get of your riches than the benefits that you can get yourself.

Looks like the banks are going to be closed in europe at some point, so nobody will be able to get their cash out and they will totally panic when that happens as they won't be able to buy food or fuel, so If I had a pile of money I would buy a piece of land that I could set up a homestead on to grow food and keep some food animals also.I'd also convert a lot of the cash into hard tangible assets that could be used for barter or as money, cause fiat currency may not cut it after the collapse and of course if it was a lotto win, I'd buy very nice sports car but also a pick up truck.......

I would buy a house, not a big one, just enough so we could live comfortably. and a car and insurances.
Then I would invest the rest, having a passive income is something that I really look forward to have. Coz even if I'm gone, but I was able to start a really good investment. Then it will benefit even the people that I left behind. =)

Hmm, depends on how many millions I have. If it's just a million or 2 million, then I guess that's just enough to buy a large plot of land in the province, and put some of the money in the back as time deposits.
If I have like 3-5 million, I'd do the same, but I'll be able to start/build my dream house. Not a big one, but I want a large land with a beautiful landscaping.
If I have 5-10 million, I'd invest in stocks, put more money in time deposits, open a savings account, I'll start a string of small businesses that needs a lot of CAPEX. I'll also donate a decent amount to my Church.
Any more money and I'll just increase my investment in stocks, upgrade my businesses, probably start some more, donate more money to Church, and I'll start a foundation, probably also start a soup kitchen and trans home for the poor

What i will do is to open a business that will give make me money through many years. I will invest on anything that will grow and would provide for my family money and secure our lives in case of emergency money problems. I don't really dream of becoming a millionare, i think the more money you have their is more problems too not just happiness.
I would also donate to cancer charities, and people who have health disorders.
