Did You Try the New Artisan Pizza from Dominos?

Yes, I will admit I do dine on Dominos once in awhile. It might be less than authentic and fattening, but heck, they do deliver. Also, their chocolate lava cakes are yummy - but only VERY occasionally!
I recently received an email with Dominos coupons for their new artisan pizzas. They look square and claim to feed two people (although they don't know how hungry some folks I know get).
They look tasty, especially the spinach and feta one. Did anyone try these? Are they as small as they look? How are they? I like their other specialty pizzas but am unsure about these.

I normally order for Pizza 73, but I have seen the new commercials for Dominos Pizza and it looks good and promising. I always had a distaste for Dominos because of the pizza sauce. But I will try the new pizza because they the chefs at Dominos say that they have changed the menu to be pleasing to its costumers :)

For a long time, I did not order from Dominos because the sauce was just not authentic. They changed the sauce about a year ago and it's much better. They also changed the crust, which is now irresistible. It has a garlic flavor, sort of like garlic knots - yum!

No, I have not tried it yet. I do get flyers from pizza shops often. I suppose they know that I am a pizza addict ! LOL ! Any way, I do go to pizza shops quite often, Domino Pizza too. I like Domino pazza too. I will try next time the one tou mentioned. Thank you.

I used to hate Dominos pizza but their $7.99 three topping large pizza specials improved my opinion. Still not the best pizza but much better than they were. I plan to try an artisan pizza at some point but their pasts 'bowls' are scary. Bad for the diet.

Hi mamasaid,
I tried this "Artisan Pizza" recently, and in all honesty, I was not impressed. I found myself longing for the greasy cheesy pizza that I am so used to. In my opinion, you go to places like Dominoes and Pizza hut for that classic "restaurant pizza taste". So I think it is somewhat silly for them to try and create a more "authentic" and "classy" pizza, when so many of us just enjoy a simple pepperoni delivered on a Friday night! Also I would say that the pizza was pretty small and that it is quite ridiculous to say they "feed two people" (maybe if you've already eaten appetizers or something before).
