By next year April 2012, RMS Titanic will mark its 100th year under the sea. In 1997, James Cameron's Titanic was shown in cinemas with a worldwide gross of $1.8 billion. It was the first movie to reach a billion dollar sales. Next year, April 6, 2012, Titanic movie will be re-release in 3-D. Do you think that the re-release movie will be another big hit? Will you watch it in 3-D?

Me too. Whenever it's shown on tv, I make it a point to watch it. I just never get tired of watching it all over again.

Yeah that part in 3D would be really cool. It would probably feel like you're really inside Titanic and that the water is after you. I can't wait for next year.

Indeed. James Cameron is giving us a chance to watch the movie all over again. I really can't wait for next year. When I watched the official trailer of the movie, it really gave me goosebumps.

Titanic...disaster taken as a story...& it become super hit...but more tragic incidents also should be recorded & filmed...so that people would have more good things to watch...3-D release may be make Titan hit again...because the love story picks up in the Ship...& ends with emotional separation is all time hit.

Yeah! I agree. They should record more tragic incidents so the people could watch something new.

I cannot lie, Titanic has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I have watched the movie, at least 100 times. That is not an exaggeration, it is simply a fact. I am not sure why I have watched it so many times, but I know that I will be seeing it in theaters, in 3-D. I think that it could be a bigger hit, because the younger generation who was not seen that movie, will be able to see it in all its glory in theaters again. I can't wait!

I have the same thing to say. I have watched the movie a couple of times already but I think not as much as you have. 100, really? Yeah I'm sure a lot of people will be watching it for sure. I mean, come on, who doesn't love the movie? :)

classic film can not be copy.then the the big hit about this film can not be copy.
this 3d film is a copy. a copy just follows with the first film.
in fact, many people will be fatigue of taste.so this film will be less value.

I don't know about that. Some are not so excited but there are also some who really are. I guess it depends on the person. Thank you for responding.

until today, i can clearly remembered that it is the first for me to go to cinema to see a movie, the moving and touching scenes make me burst into crying, at that time, i can not understand the love-related emotions, but i record the plot and write down my feeling after watching it, later, i repeated to see the plot and remembered the classic conversation:you jump, i jump, and the symbolic pose of hero. so when i aborad on a ship, i want to try that from my deep heart.

I really do not like how they are just making 3D movies out of everything trying to get more exposure. I do not think that titanic in 3D will be good or worth seeing and I do not think that they will get many people watching it just for the 3D aspect.
I do not know what parts of that movie they could possibly make in 3D. Most of the people that would ever watch the movie already did when it came out the first time.
If anything they might get a few sales just for the fact that when Titanic first came out it was on 2 vhs tapes. This might get people to buy a blu-ray copy so that they can watch it again.
Many movies are worse in 3D especially ones that were not originally made to be 3D

Yeah! You have a good point. Buying a blu-ray copy is much cost efficient since you can be able to watch it as many times as you want.
