Unw0rthy I do not really think that there is a best brand of laptop. Many of the different laptops that you see on the market each have different shells but all have the same guts. For many of them you might be paying for the brand and not necessarily for a good unit....

Unw0rthy Start-control panel-click on mouse-device settings-settings-check box that enables double clicking. Hope that helps, if not check for drivers using driver agent.
