Which is the best brand laptop?

I think that Apple is the best in laptops....I use apple...It's really nice...The mac operating system in apple laptop is really nice..But now I use windows xp... It's very nice to use.... Try apple...ALL THE BEST...

I'm thinking of buying a laptop in about few months from now. But I am really confused on what brand to buy. Can you tell me what brand is great aside from apple and sony? because this 2 brands are really expensive. Now, I am searching about laptops and I was wondering which is better between Asus & Acer & HP. Can you tell what brand is good?

Asus is the best laptop i ever used and i still use it in fact i will use it until the day that is un-fixable

I do not really think that there is a best brand of laptop. Many of the different laptops that you see on the market each have different shells but all have the same guts. For many of them you might be paying for the brand and not necessarily for a good unit. As for netbooks you may find them pricing from 200 to 300 dollars between the brands but then there will not be much a different if any with the specs and speeds of the unit. Many people will say that intel is better then amd, which I guess is mostly true. But then again intel is usually much more expensive than amd so there is a little bit of a trade off. As for laptops, intel is usually much better on battery life then amd processor laptops but amd now has apu laptops which have significantly increased its battery life and efficiency. For your brand of laptop I would probably go for acer or hp. Dell doesn't really have much of a presence out here in canada and brands like gateway are notoriously unfavored. pick one that has enough ram and a good dual core or more processor if you want anything that will last you. as for the ram 3-4 gigs should suffice. Try not to pay for the brand and actually look in to the specs of the laptop you end up buying.

How about sony vaio? I use Vaio E series and the performance and video are so awesome.

If there's no problem with the budget then don't think and run to apple. If there is and you wanna buy a good one then HP would be my offer to you.

you can give a try to HP brand. Price of laptop is all depend on the specifications, the higher the specs the higher the price.

i think dell,sony are good with an average budjet. if you want to buy coastly one try apple its the best. and for normal use dell is the best. and sony vaio is aome more better with more features...and better quality. if you want cheap ones... thoshiba,and lenova...is the best. better i prefer dell.i am using it and its working well.

Ocay, it's depends on how your father need. If your father are graphic designer or people who play game the laptop must have a dedicated graphic card. This is cost about USD $1600++ If your father using the laptop just for work, or cheap price laptop you can buy Lenovo, so far this is the cheap laptop and good for work.
