You can turn them on and off individually but it seems sometimes you don't get notified anyway even with some on.

now that mylot has added the new feature of discussions my friend has posted, it makes it even easier than worrying about turning on friends. I really like the new feature. and now you don't have to worry about tuns of emails either. i have not been getting the emails for several days, so i really like the feature now.

In your Friends list you can set it to notify you (by email) when a friend posts a discussion.

Personally, I didn't know what that function was for. Why would you turn them on or off? And, I have not a clue how to do 1000, except one by one, and that will take forever.

The function of turning on and off friends is to email you when your friends(the ones you turned on)have started a new discussion. That way, it will help you respond to more discussions. And, I think that she was talking about 1000 friends that she has to turn on! LOL :D

Hi msqtech. I only realized that you are on my friend list. Someone, the name escapes me right now, but, they were a tad ticked with your responses. It seems this person took offence of your criticizing of their posts. This is when I discovered my were on my friend list, because I was responding to this person. I still haven't read your responses to his/her posts. I will be doing this tonight. What is the advantage to having your friends turned on, or off?

I don't turn on all my friends as I check regularly their discussions. It is easier and then I don't have to wade thru a bunch of emails. I have one or two turned on and that is all. Just enough to know what kind of traffic is happening with my friends and when it seems alot then I go and look at all of my friends.
