Infedility and hurting oneself

A friend of mine cut her wrist because of a failed marriage. Her police husband had an affair with another woman. She cant take the pain. They are married for 7 years and have know each other for 11 years and have 3 kids. Infact she just delivered her youngest child few months back and after the gave birth her husband starts the affair. I know its unfair for her and it really hurt so badly but hurting yourself over a failed marriage and a husband who doesnt care is not a good idea. I dont really know how to feel if I am in her shoe. I just know and understand her pain and we comfort her to the best we can. But hopefully she wont hurt herself again. Were glad she still lives. How about you? Do you need to hurt yourself if that happens to you? What if you still love the person and that your still hoping that things will be better again? Is it worth fighting for that person or you'd rather be a single mother than living with a dishonest husband?

I totally understand your friend's pain. But I hope that cutting my wrists would never become an option, regardless of what I am going through. Your friend briefly forgot what was really important in her life and that should be taking care of the innocent victims, the three children.

you are right it should not be an option at all. but sometimes people just ignore their logic, refuse to think and use their common sense. one in real despair could not careless about their own misery.

i totally agree with you tammy. Thanks a lot. Wish she never did that Im sad that she is that weak to do it and forgot about the feelings of her kids.

Normally womens had more possessiveness upon their husband because they have to think about their kids and her husband is world for them. But some mens behaving irresponsible sometimes by keeping some secret affairs without informing their wife. These affairs leads to misunderstanding and divorce upon couples and it affects childrens also sometimes. Its duty to be a good husband and good father for a men and its duty to be a good wife and good mother for a men after they involving themselves in families.
