I get online and visit all the sites I usually do EXCEPT I felt like I was missing something. Wracking my brain for a few minutes, typing in all the sites again, I go "oh well I'll remember it."
I JUST thought.. "wait I haven't gone to mylot today" lol.
I'm getting old.
Not to mention, I can't ever sleep in. I went to bed at 2 AM and woke up at 5:30 then again at 7:30 (and stayed up). I CAN'T sleep in.
I'm getting old.
Are You?

I know right? It's been forever. We should talk! How's life?? Still living in that mansion in Malibu?? Oh wait, that wasn't you??
Yeah I don't know, in any case yeah I felt silly being forgetful. I don't go to "that" site no more.

We definitely should chat sometime... maybe on Yahoo or on Pay Snork? Anyway, it's going really good! Busy as usual, but reaally good. I do not go either once I saw who was running the show again. I was thinking, seriously? lol Nothing like being forgetful!

I don't know about running the show, but it just got to where I couldn't find anyone that I normally chat with. Yeah or through here on messages, something. But I was thinking getting everyone together.

Yes, I am OLD! I finally brought up a notepad and listed all the sites I use online. I will invariably forget the name of a site and have to go check my list. Isn't that pathetic?! But Now with the list I can relax and weird out over not remembering a name. I just go to my list.

In a way, I am the same.
It's not the site that I forget, but it's the passwords for the sites that I don't remember. So, I also use the notepad on my celphone. I code it too so it doesn't get compromised, but sometimes I even forget what the code means.
It's really pathetic on my part!

A few minutes ago, an operator here at work handed me some paperwork that I have to prepare some documents.
And for the life of me, I couldn't find it. I don't remember where I put them. I don't want to go out there and ask him, as he might think I am getting old.
Which I am, I think.

You can feel young even though you're already old. One way is to stop thinking that you're getting old. Enjoy life. Don't take it seriously. Eat a well balanced diet. Try to sleep early. If you aren't able to do so, try to examine why. Do you sleep in the afternoon? Do you take a lot of caffeine? Look for the reasons why you can't sleep early. For the forgetting thing, do brain puzzles so you can use and exercise your brain.

I promise, keep getting older and that sleep cycle thing will change again. I would love to wake up early, but I am just not making it.

If it comes to years I am getting old too although I don't feel older as 30 years ago.
Since that time my life is the same, with ups and downs, good and bad times.
A lot of energy or a big lack of energy.
My allergies killing me or keeping quite for a while.
Periods of lack of sleep (2-3 hours a night for 25 years for different reasons) and periods I can sleep more (like now with my anti-allergic meds nearly whole weekend)
I am not getting old I feel more like stucked in time already since a long time ago.

my friend it is completly normal and why getting so afraid of getting old .It is the law of the nature a living thing has to complete its life cycle and it is that simple .People are so afraid to admit that they are getting old and do all the sort of things to avoid that change or do something to delay it .I am talking generally why the whole world runs behind youth and vigor do intelligence and smartness dont matter in today's world .I dont know but in my opinion i do feel that people should start accepting that change is the rule of life and people who accept the change and develop nwere and newer ways to adapt to those changes emerge winner in life.Nevertheless i am not commenting on you my friend its my own viewpoint and just expressing myself here

Getting older is something that cannot be prevented. It will just happen. It is not so much getting older, but feeling old. As long as you don't FEEL old, there is nothing to worry about.
Forgetting things is normal. The thing is that when we get older, we think we forget more things than we did when we were younger. This is not the case. When we were young, we also forgot but we did not pay much attention to it. When we are older, every time we forget something we think this is old age.
Going to bed at 2 am and waking up at 5:50 simply means that on that particular day you did not as much sleep as you thought you would. Simple start the day early when you wake up early.
