Yes I have a wireless Keyboard and mouse with my Laptop and my Laptop sits up on a table stand, so to a sense my Laptop is set up like a PC!
Although I do have a separate PC, I like to use my Laptop this way out of comfort and knowing that I can easily carry it on the go is yet another added benefit.

myLot does not forget anyone Fanta, I can only imagine that it is the issue with Indian PayPal accounts. Did your balance come back here to myLot? If so sadly you will have to wait until next payout. However, do make sure you have fully verified/made whichever changes needed to your PayPal before the next payout or you will be facing the issue again.

Im not usually this rude with people who get some of the higher commented-on comments, but what on earth is this? It's just plain stupid to put something on here that is just plain retarded like your comment is. I mean, is english not your first language, or are you just extremely young? It's almost an insult that your post is such a popular one right now...

Hi Fanta
Well I used both desktop computer and my laptop.. But not using any external keyboard with my laptop. I used the default one only. But yes I have few friends who used to use external keyboards with their laptops.
About my laptop keyboard, few words got erased from the keys like yours. But I do typing without looking at keys of keyboard so no problem for me.

well, you are very funny guy.. I am also like to use separate keyboard, even though I am working with my laptop..This because my laptop has very small keyboard or keypad..So I found more comfortable to use separate keyboard ones..I can type faster and with less error..
Besides separate laptop, I also like to use multiple monitor. Meaning I also install separate lcd screen to work side by side with my laptop so I can work in LCD while still monitoring incoming email..

Dear Fanta,
I do not separate keyboard in laptop as the keys on it itself is sufficient. On desk top is a keyboard that usually most people use. I feel it would be better to use those facilities is most latest, so that the user could be so adapted. Moreover in laptop I feel much comfortable I can change the positions and take the laptops where ever I want too. May be in due course technology may help us even not to type may be just speak what we want to...

I don't use extra keyboard for my laptop.
But I use extra mouse with my laptop,I don't use the track pad too much (not convenient for me)
There is nothing wrong using an extra keyboard with laptop.
Some people really do it for taking care of their laptop keyboard.
have a good day

I have no issues on laptop's keyboard but I don't use the mouse. What I use is an external mouse. I feel comfortable using it and find my hands control better than using the mouse pad on the laptop!

Whenever I use laptop I use the key board provided in it. However I use an external mouse for the sake of convenience. Yes. if we want we can use another key board --remote key board also.

I'm much like you - I use a separate optical mouse. It's so much easier! I use a separate keyboard if the desk I'm using has a keyboard holder. It makes it easier on my shoulders so they don't get sore.

I think for those that I know who use a separate keyboard when using laptops, they either use it because the space on the keyboard of their netbooks or notebooks are not enough for the size of their hands or they don't want to wear out the keyboard on their netbooks or notebooks. I guess they have plans to sell it when a new model comes around and catches their interest.
I have used an external keyboard before when my nephew accidentally sprayed water on the keyboard of our laptop. the keys didn't function properly so we had to purchase an separate keyboard that can be plugged in using a USB. I even got to apply some stickers on that keyboard when we finally erased the letters due to constant use. I think most of us at home don't look at the keyboard when we type. I am doing that right now so, if ever there are wrong spellings that the browser that I am using isn't detecting with the red underline, my apologies..

Hello Fanta, your discussion is funny one. It is like discussions which was posted by Surekha Rathi. Indeed her topics were to much interesting and funny. It seems you are a prefect typist. So you can type with hide keys. I can also type in hindi from english keyboard.

No, never tried it and I don't think I'll ever do that. While I like regular keyboards way more than the laptops ones, I choose based on convenience and comfort here. It's not practical to have to carry a keyboard wherever you carry the computer, sort of it goes against the main advantage of laptops, that is, mobility. And right now, my current laptop has a decent keyboard with most functions I use, and even a built in numeric pad, so I don't need an external one. In that case, I would have buy a desktop instead and save a lot of money.
What I use externally is a mouse. While I don't like to have to carry it, the touchpad of notebooks is bad enough to justify the extra device.

I currently utilize both a laptop and a desktop computer, but with my laptop I don't utilize an external keyboard. When I first started using my laptop it felt a bit weird because I was so used to the regular keyboard we normally utilize with a desktop that it actually took me a while to get used too.
