Do you have a special mood to write? This are for writers okay, not regular writing but for MyLotters that actually WRITE STORIES. Do you have to be in a mood for it? Like sad or happy?
How does writing works for you? You have to see a picture, watch a movie or listen to a particular song before get inspired?
Too many questions but I'm sure that if you are a story teller you'd love to answer this, I'm dying to learn what other writers do.
Recently I receive a dear tip from a MyLotter, he told me to write inspired by a picture, I almost do that, I go to DeviantArt and see those amazing arts but because I write paranormal, scifi, fantasy and sort of stuff usually I can't go with a picture, but I was thrilled to know a writer also needs an image, I didn't know they did. Always searching and learning.

I can write in a variety of moods. Of course what I am going to write is really going to depend on that mood on that single day to say the very least. There are a lot of times where I write a happy cheerful thing when I am happy and cheerful. When the mood is a bit more dark, I tend to write something slightly more dark. Its not true all of the time, but it is true many times.
So yes, a variety of moods can and will exist that will allow me to write about what I really do in fact need to write. What I really feel as if I need to write and it will happen. Different moods are going to really lead to different types of writing. I don't think it is a special mood for writing in general but obviously I need to be in a certain mood to properly channel the ability to write what I need to write.

I absolutely looooooove talking to writers. What do you write about dear, is there any work online so we can support, take a look?
I see!
I was a big happy ending fan but recently I begin to be intrigued by sad endings, even tragic killing an important carachter, and it's funny, I did that both in good and bad mood. Hope my writing doesn't end up dark, I'm not a fan. But there are endings, I feel now that I explore, that really can't have a good ending, that the sadness is actually more beautiful, after all writing is a form or art...right? No? lol, I don't know if it is but I work on it as it was, like a picture you paint until get the colors, the shape that you want.
Happy MyLotting, thanks for the comment.

I write a story or even composed a certain poems or songs when I'm depressed & lonely. It depends upon the situation. If you are inspire to a certain situation, probably you can write a certain story. I was able to write a story when I'm depressed because the content of it is full of courageous ending. I will based my story on how i overcome the situation.

It's rare but I can write some preatty good work when I'm depressed. I loved the way you use it though, I don't write something optmistic a good and dramatic romance come out when I'm depressed.
Maybe with the happy endings you clearly write, like getting over, overcoming the situation because you, the author is depressed could be empowering to yourself. Any works online in a blog or have you ever published?

Hi katie: I love writing and I'm actually creating a whole story, a romantic one in my spare time. In my case, whenever I have an inspiration, generally while dreaming or when I think about a story I write the ideas on a piece of paper or in my laptop and I use them later when I have the time to write.

When I write my reviews I try to be in a happy, energetic mode so I can write a good review, if I'm tired or not in the mood to write a review I won't write one, because it won't turn out good if I'm not in the mood to write.

There are those who can write a master piece when they are sad, I could but it was really rare, inspiration is not coming with extreme moods. It seems that lately it's time that brings inspiration, I just can't write for a long time and then when it comes it takes me for like 3 days straight.

Hi katie! I write in Triond. What inspires me to write is foods and health stuff. My hubby always researches the benefits and cons of the foods we eat, so I figured why not write about them.

Sometimes I prefer writing when I have strong emotions. The problem with that kind of writing is since your fingers are on "fire". You can hardly look back at what you've already written which means you may have done some typo which you aren't aware of.
I love writing but not so often because I sometimes ran out of brain juice. I do however tend to create reviews after watching a movie or reading a book.

Great question. Well; I go through phases when writing comes very easily to me...and during these periods, there are always countless things for me to write about; my mind is just teeming with inspiration. Yet, I also have phases where I cannot write a thing; barely a word in fact, I am just all written out, as if I'm suffering from mental exhaustion. Then there are other phases where writing makes me uncomfortable; it's as if I'm in the wrong spiritual place, and although writing comes easily to me at times like these, I stop writing by choice...I mean...indefinitely. Although I can still write to a degree; such as updating previous writings, as well as my writing sites; but the creative side effectively comes to an indefinite halt.

I prefer to write when I am extremely happy or sad.I don't write when I feel noting because the results are dry compositions.I don't think about holding a pen and paper when I am very angry because I don't want to write offensive stuff.
Picture helps me to put clearer images to my compositions.Having a picture of the thing I am writing about helps, but it is not very necessary to write well.

Sometimes I write because I have to! I only got the subject and I need to research for it, then all the ideas are flowing instantly. Certainly some of my articles are review for their product and need to build it up and promote it.
But to tell you the truth I am not really a good writer. A friend of mine encourage me to make a blog and somehow she told me that maybe I can earn from it, and now that's what I do, but these days I only got a few. These writing of mine is not really a stable job, I just need to kill some times by writing a few articles and also by dwelling here in mylot. At least these site enables us to practice more to write.
