Similar to I Gotcha or otherwise I Got You, is probably the app you may want for your iPhone. This is a security app which not only protects your phone from unauthorized access to its features, when it is being stolen and in Secure mode blocks access to data such as SMSes, photos, contacts and call history. It will take a photo of the person who enters a wrong passcode at the lockscreen and then emails you the photo together with the phone's current GPS location and a Google maps link. More importantly, the thieves will also be prevented from turning off the phone while it is locked. The app proved useful for a recent robbery in New York, where a 31-year-old woman living in Queens received an email with the photo and location of the man who had snatched her iPhone from her pocket. Thankfully, she had downloaded the iGotYa app earlier. She sent the photo and details to the police, who recognised the suspect, tracked him down successfully and leading to an arrest at the man's home. So, check it out if you haven't gotten it.
