PayPal issue, partly solved

This is in continuation to my previous discussions. Earlier I had posted 3 discussions on this http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2584734.aspx?p=0 http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2588646.aspx?p=0 http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2591290.aspx?p=0 At last I got the mail from staff of PayPal, I was asked to load my bank account number by going to my profile. When I signed in, I saw my bank account removed, so I put back the same HDFC bank account and the code. On putting the PAN number (the same old one), it said, ‘You have entered your existing PAN, please enter a different one. So I just clicked save. Instantly I got a mail telling me, Congratulations! You have successfully added an India bank account to your PayPal account. You can now withdraw funds from your PayPal account to this bank account. NOW I have to wait for the validation process of PAN Because in mail PayPal staff said: You can easily update your card on PayPal by removing the old card and adding the new one. To validate your PAN, you will have to re-add your personal bank account. The PAN validate process will be processed within 24 to 72 hours. Please be advised that due to large volume of Indian contacts we are receiving, the PAN validation process may take a little bit longer. No worries! I can assure you that we are doing our best to validate the PAN as soon as possible. [b]Hope after reading this, my Indian friends will feel relaxed. My account also in limited condition and I have added my pan number but till now it is not reviewed..From your post I assume it will take some more day ..But the sad thing is that they not replying to my emails...

My problem solved the next day I posted this reply and now my account have no problem at all.I am waiting to receive some amount in my account from one of my earning sites..

Well, I am glad to hear that this issue is soon to be completely solved. It is so frustrating to have these things going on. I have never had a problem with PayPal and certainly feel good about it. It is sad to find that the company you need is one that causes you problems. Hope it is resolved soon.

we, Indians had some restriction in the past which were put by the Reserve Bank of India. But, Now, there is no problem like that. Really Americans are lucky.

Hello Papa! This is grand news! I am happy to hear that it is partly resolved. Shows that persistence will get you what you want and so glad you did not give up. Sad that the Indian RBI rules have made it so difficult for you all. I am just glad that where there is a will there is a way. What a great way to for you to start a new week!

To me it's sad that international commerce has to be so difficult! Here in the US they shout "DIVERSITY" but in reality that's only because our corporations want to expand their employment base to hire from! It has nothing to do with cultural inclusion, fairness, an end to racism or tapping the world's human resources to make the world itself a better place! Hence, the dance PayPal and it's international members dance around the financial system.

I am happy to hear, Professor, that your issue has been resolved. I have never had issues with Paypal, and I have been using them almost since it's inception. I wonder if it has to do with where you live. Isn't Paypal a company from the United Kingdom, or is it from the United States of America?

Hi Janet I don't where from paypal is, more over the PAN issue persists, the problem is due to Reserve Bank of India guide lines, guess only indians face this. Thanks Best of luck. Professor

I am happy that your paypal issue has been partly solved and you are confident it will be sorted fully shortly. You have also received mail from paypal. good. In fact Vidhyaprakash is also frantically trying to sort out his paypal issue.
