I'm watching a dvd. When it starts, trailers for new movies start up. I enjoy watching to see what's coming out and what is being released to dvd. This drives my husband nuts. He hates watching those trailers. He wants to watch his movie not be forced to watch the trailers for upcoming movies. Some of the dvd's won't allow you to fast forward past them, and that is what REALLY drives him nuts. Does that bother you?

I hate the previews. We tend to watch the same movies over and over and seeing those previews that much is annoying. I don't like watching the previews either because it may be for movies that I really don't like or they are annoying. I'd rather just skip them. I've found that if you can't press the menu button to skip the previews, pressing fast forward usually works. Unfortunately, we've lost the dvd remote, so I can't do that.

I love the trailers and it would bother me NOT to see them. I also watch the credits at the end of a movie.

I do not think it would bother me, but we just never get around to watching movies.

I only have a set amount of time to watch things like DVDs so I find trailers and having to restart things very annoying. I've found a few ways around these things if you have watched, for example a show on a DVD and if you restart after finishing an episode, you have to go through the whole start up deal again, but if you start the next episode and stop it, then, so long as you haven't taken the DVD out you can restart it at that point... not much help for movies tho - I am with your husband, get me to the start menu, if I want to see what's coming, give me that as one of the options too!

I like watching them if its a dvd I'm watching for the first time. If we're rewatching it, and have already seen the trailers, I prefer to be able to fast-forward through them.

Me and my husband are exactly the opposite, he insists on watching the trailers and I detest them. I like watching movies but am terribly impatient, there are times when I will have lost interest by the time the trailers are over. I guess I got a touch of ADD or something because I just dont have the attention span to wait through the trailers. We pretty much have a system worked out though he watches the trailers while I make us some popcorn or other movie munchies usually by the time I'm done the movie is ready to come on, I dont have to wait through the trailers and we dont have to worry about pausing half way through the movie to get a snack it works out for everyone.

If it is a newer movie I'm watching, then I like to watch the trailers too. I like to see what new movies are coming to theater or what movies are coming to dvd that I haven't seen already. If it is a movie that I've already seen then I like the ability to skip right to the movie. It does bug me that some movies won't let you do that.

I like watching trailers, and I'm disappointed if we go to see a film but miss the trailers. but I think you should be able to fast forward through them if you choose. because if you BUY a film, why should you have to watch the same trailers for outdated films every time you watch it for the rest of your lives?
