How can I block a friend of mine?

if you really dont want them bugging you try to unfriend them in facebook...that way wont be able to tag you in pictures..

Just to be on the safe side i only add as friends people i actually know and relatives. When you are sent a friends request you have the option to add them or not. Once you have already added a friend and you later want to remove them you can do so by looking at your friends list and deleting them.

I don´t know any way to block friends in FB, I had the same problem with one of mine, and the best thing you can do is delete the person from your friend list. All you have to do is select your friend list on your profile, and mark the person you want to get rid of, in the right column.

Trust me I know how annoying that could actually get, I used to have a few people that constantly did the same thing, and really they weren't close friends of mine. So after getting fit up with it, I decided to delete them from my friends list. Once in a while I'll get a friend request from them, but I completely ignore them. My facebook account I try to only keep close friends and/or family members, and to be perfectly honest with you lately I don't even log on as often as I used to in the past. But I do understand how aggitating those notifications can get.

You wouldn't really have to block them. All you would have to do is delete them from your friends list. They won't be able to tag you in anything if they aren't your friend. If you want to go so far as blocking them then they won't even be able to find your name then if they search for you.

It is facebook it is all irritating

Go to their profile and there is a place, I think on the left side (scroll down) and you can block them. Or, just remove them as a friend. Go to the new tabs on the top right, and there is that option.

Hi there! you can go to the person's page and scroll on the bottom of the page on the lower left corner.. There should be delete a friend or block a friend. Yeah I had one of those random people who are random companies tagging me on weight loss stuff.. It was annoying so i deleted and blocked them. I see your point.

Just go to that friend's home page and then unfriend and block that person. You can do that when you go to his or her homepage on the left hand side corner at the bottom. You have all the right to unfriend or block anybody you think don't deserve to be your friend. I am a bit choosy myself and i hate people tagging me in photos that i'm not in or i'm not even interested at all. It's really annoying.

Sometimes, I also feel what's your into, but I don't care. The fact that it's just a tag and they don't go in my privacy personally, go ahead taggers! Tag as many as you want, commercialize for all I care *lol!

I'm not at my computer. I'm using my iPhone, but you can go into your settings on the upper right of your computer screen. I can't remember just how I did it. But I've had to block a few people for the same reason. I have no idea why people tag photos to us.
