. . .I always do not take the elevator or escalator if it is only up to the third floor that I will be going up in a building. I always take the opportunity to walk or move around. I always drink a glass of lukewarm water when I wake up in the morning. The feel of the warm water as it goes down into my empty stomach, seems to clear out those hardened fats on the walls of the passageways it passes by. I see to it that I always drink a total of at least 8 glasses of water everyday. At night, before I lay down to sleep, I would drink a glass of water , even if it means waking up at night to pee. That way, according to an alternative doctor, nightmares can be prevented. These things I always do in addition to eating a well balanced meal , in addition to doing one hour exercise at least 3x a week. All for the sake of health. Share yours, guys.

wow!! thumbs up for a healthy living Simplyd! well now i am sedentary. i would just exercise when i feel that i am heavy. i don't eat much though so that compensate my being non active. i am thinking that in that way i won't get fat. i am trying also to make drinking water a habit but sometimes i just forget drinking. i am doing away with cold water as it would slow digestion especially after eating meals which are heavy. now, i am really trying my best to be healthy. not only look healthy but also feel healthy.

Well, knowing that your life is sedentary, then perhaps you could do some movements like swaying of the feet while you are seated in front of your computer. It's good that you eat less to compensate for your sedentary life. At least that way, you will not grow that big, despite being sedentary.

I think what you have done makes sense. When we get up,our blood viscosity is higher than other times. At this point, people who suffer from cardiovascular disease are prone to get a disease attack.Drinking a glass of lukewarm water can dilute the blood which is no doubt good for people who are in good health.

So maybe that's the more likeable explanation for the benefit of drinking a glass of warm water, first thing in the morning. Thanks for adding that, my friend.

Yes, i am used to that, my friend. The moment i wake up , i would go to the kitchen to switch on our electric pot. Then, after praying i would go back to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and i would drink a glass of lukewarm water first. It's part of my morning routine actually.

Dear friend, That is really apprecaited for taking care of your health so well. Here I often skip exercises due to late wake up or due to lack of time. But water I too have a plain water in the morning in emply stomach. Have mostly light foods except while attending parties. Those days which I have good sleep and well normal excercise I feel really refreshed, that lasts to next day too. I could see that nowdays my neiborgs are becoming more health consious.

So you noticed it too. People are more health conscious now. Maybe it's because, with the many diseases to which some would die at an early age, people are already afraid. Yes, i have to take care of my health, so that even when i get to my old age, i will still be very much mobile and healthy.

I don't get to do a lot of exercise anymore. But I also recognize that there's a few things that I need to change just because I'm getting up there in years, and I should be living healthy. I've cut back on a few things that are 'generally' not good for me. And this summer I've bought a bike which I use going to work.

Oh yes, biking is a good form of exercise too. I used to have a bike in my teenage years and i love biking around the town and to the beach with my friends. It's one good way to be healthy too.

Your life is so healthy, friend. But, all you say is totally correct. I myself, I drink two glasss water every morning (but not hot water, just cold water), then totally I drink approx 10 glasses everyday. Before sleep, I never drink because I am lazy to wake up at the night. For exercise, I think I must begin to think it. I never do exercise. It is a nice discussion. Best wishes,

Well, my friend i started thinking of getting healthy , when after i was operated for a total abdominal hysterectomy. Since i lost my ovaries and reproductive organs on that operation, i had a what they call forced menopause at an age very early to have that. Thus, i started getting a healthier way of life, so i will not feel old at that early age. And it will continue to be that way until my old age.

I usually take stairs when going to office if i have to fall in line before getting in the elevator or when I'm almost late at work.Drinking eight to ten glasses of water a day is recommended for our health so I'm trying to practice this habit,

It's indded nice to always have in mind, what's good for our health. If it will not inconvenience us, then why shouldn't we do it It's for free anyway.

I just would like to be still healthy even in my old age, ybong. But then, if i have to live a hundred years but i am not mobile or can't hear anymore or remember who my family members are, then i would rather not live anymore . I am just making sure that i am healthy and active even at my old age.
