During older times,Dvd player is one of the main sources of entertainment. It is used to watch movies, listen to music, sing song using videooke, and many more. But now there is the internet. There is youtube. It enables us to watch videos more easily. There are many sites where we can download full movies and songs.Everything a dvd can do can now be done using mobile phones and computer. What is the use of the Dvd player now? I still use my dvd player but only seldomly because I prefer downloading songs or videos and playing them directly using my phone or computer.I wonder if many still use dvd player.Do you still use your dvd player a lot?

Not a lot. We watch mostly from the downloads we get from the internet. But mom is still using it sometimes since she loves still loves buying pirated DVD's. We have two DVD players, and one has not been used for a year already. But you have also forgotten before DVD players came, there was also CD players. And before that VHS and Betamax players. ^^ We still have our VHS player though I'm sure it's no longer working, our CD player is still there and has not been used for a very long time. I hope they stop making all this new technologies so we can at least use these stuff we have now

We still have a cd player at home, but we use it no more.I think it is more convenient to just watch downloaded stuff from the internet than to buy expensive cds.

It is true that today I seldom will watch DVD from my DVD player. However, I like to make a DVD photo album which it contains lots of digital photos with nice music. I like to enjoy watching our photos in this way. As we can watch the photos from the large TV and that's comfortable. I love China

I don't. I sold it and got an Xbox 360 and that's what we use as a DVD player. It's got multi functions, stream, storage, games so I guess DVD players are hanging on the edge for existence fearing its demise in the fast world of technology.

Well, for me, I prefer DVD player. It is because I was used to it since I was a kid. If use the computer, I find it alarming because it can harm my computer. I am so afraid with it.

Even my will questioning the presence of TV since I can watch them online. But we must remember, not all of our society is already ready and familiar with computer and smart phones, Even if they have one. That is not mentioning the price of internet connection that is still high in my country (for real unlimited). Personally, I do not have neither DVD player nor TV since it is not necessary anymore.

Yes i too don't see any use of DVD Players nowadays as there are lost less what we can do in a dvd than we can do it in our pc and do many things simultaneously and also enjoy watch movies and even listen songs The few place where i can think right now is in function where it is still used a lot, functions and few other places also many still use it as home theater and even few of my relatives

My husband , daughter and I still loves watching movies or singing videoke through the DVD player. We love it because it could be seen in the big screen of our TV, with us just laying down on our beds to watch. We love watching it in a bigger screen. With the internet , or laptops , we cannot compress ourselves and get to watch it together in the computer.

We still use the DVD most of the time at home since we don't have PC yet. And even if someday we might be able to buy a computer we will still continue to use our DVD especially on some special occasions for sing along or videoke purposes.:-)

I still prefer the crisp of sound and images my blu-ray gives me. My android can also play movies but lets face it, the battery cant stand it so long. If you do it old style, it will still be exciting specially if you will realize that above all its main purpose is-ENTERTAINMENT! All of these gadgets are usefull. The important thing is we use it responsibly.
