criticalman Gone are the days of 24 hours brownouts except when Ondoy happened. Candles were handy in those days. Rechargable lamps are more efficient in times of no power, less fire hazard but they don't last long. Candles are always there for primitive purposes incase...

criticalman It's always the law of supply and demand. The typhoon ransacked all the produce thus less supply yet more demand hence increase in price of goods.
