Some girls like to wear color contact lens to change their eye color. Perhaps they think that it will make them look prettier. Whereas I am not interested in wearing color contact lens, I don't even want to wear the contact lens since I don't think it is safe enough.

I actually really wanted to wear color contact lenses some years ago. But when I went to buy one, I couldn't put it on. It was so scary hahaha I failed so many times so I just didn't buy them.
Right now I am not so interested but if i could I would probably buy one hehe!

I also don't wear any color contact lenses. But I do wear corrective contact lens whenever I am outside. I don't know if it can correct my eyes, though. I also have eyeglasses to wear at home. It's really a hassle wearing contact lenses but I have no choice but to wear a pair so that I can clearly see the world ^^
Yes a lot of girls now are wearing fashion/color contact lens, and you can easily say that a girl is wearing one when her eyes looks unnaturally big. I have no intention of wearing fashion lens and If only my vision is clear, I wouldn't to wear a corrective contact lens too coz it's painful when I'm putting it on whenever I have less sleep.

Whoops I didn't actually know about that. What I am wearing is the soft clear contact lenses that has the same power as my spectacles. I used so that I can see things and people clearly otherwise it would all be blurry. I think I may not heard yet of a lens that can be wore at night whenever sleeping. If there is I won't use it coz I am really afraid of having a hard time removing it from my eyes. I use it only when I need to go somewhere and take it off once I'm at home.

Just tonight when I was training the four of my students who are going to have an English competition next month, one of the girls lost her contact lens and was looking for it in the classroom even when she was wearing her lens. Then she had to put it into the special washing water. You see, it is not that good as a pair of glasses. I have never thought of having contact lens and will never consider getting one pair like that. It is so easy to fall out of the eyes. Good night, youless.

yes in that way i can say im lucky as there is no way of using those big and thick glasses on my eyes to see everything around me.
For days i dont use the glasses ,even when i am in front of the system i dont use it ,do not use it while i watch television.
Only when i go out of my home i wear them as it is hard for me to see the far written things or faces ,its hard to recognixe as the sight doesnt look that clear.
These days my eyes are paining also as i sit in the front of the system for hours.

I see no reason why some girls to wear color contact lens. Do they imitate the westerner, Or they aim at cutting a conspicuous figure? As to contact lens,Ifall in with your views.

i agree with you.. i think contact lens is safe enough. and the most important thing is we must be so thankful to God, because of His power so that we could have health eye. so why we have to change our eye's color if still health. and it would be better if we use eyeglasses than contact lens.

the most important thing is the functionality not the performance.

I use regular contact lenses. I have prescription glasses and I found it more practical to use contact lenses especially when my kids were younger and would tend to pull my glasses out. Now I wear glasses at home and contact lenses only when I go out. I'm wearing my regular, sturdy glasses as I type this :-)
But I've never tried or wanted to try color contact lenses. I've never considered it but now thinking about it, I feel, I'd look weird wearing one of those.

My daughter has done this and there are a few colors that really look good. She has very dark brown eyes, but one of the colored lenses she got makes her look like she has a lighter shade of brownish hazel and it's amazing. Some were just freakish, but the ones really did look good on her.

I'm not really sure if I'm gonna try it. You see I only join a bandwagon once I know it's going to be tight in there. I would not prefer it as of the moment but I am not closing my mind to it. Honestly, I am starting to imagine how I would look with colored eyes but for sure I would wear contact lenses only because my eyes are bad and in some occasions, glasses just don't suit. As far as the color is concerned, I may have to decide on that later.

I don't want to wear contact lens becoz I like my eye color.
Some of my friends even thought that I am wearing contact lenses.
I have light brown eyes which is not common here in our country so,many people thought I am wearing one.

I have a problem with this thing. Even if I want to look better without glasses by using contacts only, but I could not learn the art of inserting the lens into my eyes. I tried only ONCE and had difficulty removing them as well so I gave up.

I don't wear contact lens. It seems like almost every day there is an eyelash or dust in my eye and I sometimes rub my eyes. It makes me squirm to think I might rub my eye with a contact lens in it.
I would love to change my eye color though. I have dark brown eyes, but I'd love it if they were green....or purple

Mostly are girls who choose to wear color contact lens. The color contact lens can make eyes more beautiful. There are black, blue, purple, grey, chocolate, brown contact lenses. Each color of the lens can make eyes look differently. The black lenses make eyes watry, the gray lenses allow you to become a hybrid, green eyes often feel mysterious. Wearing color contact lens will definitely do some harm to our eyes. So it is better not to wear the color contact lens very often.

The correction my eyes need is really too difficult for contacts, and I certainly would not wear contacts just to change color. Some of those kinds of contacts are not really good for your eyes.

I also wear glasses but I do find the colored contact lenses cute and trendy. If I were brave enough I would also try that, especially the grey ones. But there are some who go to the extremes in wearing colors that don't seem natural but they are able to carry it well.

I've been wearing contact lenses for over 40 years. Now I wear extended-wear disposables, but back in the day, before there were all these options for contacts, I wore those hard pieces of plastic because that's all there was. I used to get them in all sorts of colors -- outrageous colors like red, yellow -- and not only that, I would mix them up. I'd wear two different colors.. I'd wear them not so much because I thought it made me look prettier, but for the shock effect and being unique. It was so much fun freaking people out.
To each his own, but after wearing contacts for more years than most of you have been on this earth, I am testimony to the fact that contacts are not unhealthy nor will they make you blind. I can still SEE! (Albeit I can't see crap without them, since I have been nearsighted for most of my life, but that is my primary purpose for wearing contacts.)

With my modeling gigs I have worn every imaginable color out in the market. Yes one does have to be careful when using them, but with proper care and worn appropriately they will not harm a person.
It certainly is a preference as some will never wear them but prefer glasses and or the other way around.

Yes, i will if given the chance. I would like to wear the blue or the light colored one and see if it suits my face.
However, i doubt if i will like the feel of a foreign object on my eyes. I feel that it will make me uncomfortable. I might as well not wear one.
