Plan not go as planned, what would you do?

I realized that many of my plan won't go as expected, and I just wind up with disappointment all the time. Recently, I just get used to it, so I would keep my hope up too high, and I always keep a space for disappointment. That way, I won't be hurt and beat myself down that much. In life, we all have a vision of what we want something to happen in certain way, but in reality, everything won't go as we expected it to be. In your work, in your relation, and even in your family. We all trying to do our best to make that happen. As long as we had done our best, there shouldn't be any regret at all.

When you make plans be sure that you have plan A & Plan B. At least when plan A fails then you still have plan B. Along the course of your plan, ask for God's help that it would materialize. But when they fail, don't be so disappointed. Think of it as, perhaps God has other better plans for you. That way, the failure won't devastate you much.

That why I do advise people to always have a second option that you can always turn to when the first one get messed or doesn't work. I always try to be logic in making decision and less expecting so that I won't get much hurt.

I think this happens to all of us. I'm reading your post and it sounds like something that I could have easily written. You're in good company. Your last sentence says it all - do your best and you won't have regrets.

that's true..not everything will go on as we planned..but even if there are failures, the important thing is we stand up after the fall.. i also got so many disappointments, especially this year..but i just stood up and moved on..and i think i'm used to it also..but one thing is for sure..i never had regrets at all..'cause i earned an experience..and i learned from it..

Hi, I strongly agree with you, we should make our plan for our life " work , relation, and even in our family" to be achievable plan, according your efforts and your money capability. ant try to expect the risks during working for that plan and how can you face that risks. So, you can realize the best of your plan.

I used to have a "goal book" where I wrote down the plans and the goals for my life. When I read that book now I realize that a lot of things didn't go as planned. Sometimes things went wrong because my goals were unrealistic and sometimes something unexpected happened that forced me change my plans or turned them into a failure. I try to learn from the things that went wrong, maybe I have to adjust my plans or my expectations or maybe I just have to do it in a different way and divide my plans in smaller steps in order to succeed.

Of course, we cannot plan everything in our life as there are many aspects we cannot preview. But many things depends of us, our decisions, behaviour, and so on. So maybe it's only a point of changing our strategy about how we are going to reach our plans. There is a proverb which says: ALL ROADS DIRECTS TO ROME. It means, the end is the same, but the road (the way to get there) changes, there are many ways to get there. So don't loose your hopes and motivations, carry on with your plans. Sometimes it only takes a bit more of time until we get there where we want to be. The important think is that we think about what and how we have to do and take action.

Hey this happens to me a lot too. Whenever I am so excited about a certain trip or gathering or whatever, the things I plan with my friends or in my head are always so very different. It is kinda disappointing but to think of it in other way, I think it is much more exciting. So these days I prefer to go with the flow rather than making plans

absolutely right, plan does not go smoothly as planned. But whatever happens, just remember that the course remains more important than the results. Do never count your chicken before it hatched.

Planning will not always succeed in the way what we expected ! . so i think, we should plan in all angles both in positive and negative aspect , so that we are in a position to face any kind of situation.

That's the same way with me. I tried a lot to reach my destination. But after reaching it's not possible for me to hold that success for long time. I am feeling too dis pointed and but trying to be normal.

I have had a lot of things like this happen to me.. i mean i would make plans and it won't push through because the people involved in the plan either would cancel or won't be able to make it. its terrible that something you planned won't work well. =(

That is the same way with me. I try to plan things but it does not always go right. I usually just take one day at a time because planning something usually gets all messed up.
