Multiple Accounts on Facebook

I don't have more then one account on facebook. I only have one and its from family and only.

I dont have multiple accounts. But one reason for doing so may be that people want to keep their social circles separate from one another. Like I have my family, school friends, college friends, friends from work, all of them in my friends list. Mostly everybody does. But what if I dont want to share everything with everyone? I cant keep changing my setting all the time. So I may have different account to make my networking easy and in my way.

Yes, I have two accounts on Facebook. One is my personal one in which I play my FB games and interact with friends and family - though that is quite rare. Like HWG, I don't use FB that much to contact friends and family. It is there mainly for my farm. The other account, I use it for my online earning stuff. For example, if I have to do task on microworkers or some other sites, 'Like my FB page' tasks, I use that account.

I don't have multiple accounts. I have only one account. I am not creative and have only one identity. Do you use Facebook account to fool someone with your other account and what are they for? I didn't see the benefits of having more than one account on Facebook. I think one is quite enough for me. Okay

Hi kaichoukebz :) I have multiple accounts in Facebook. My first account is for my personal use. My friends there are my families, friends, old classmates, and family friends. My other facebook account is for my online friends, like my friends I knew from Twitter, mylot, and other social networking sites. I also have another one that I use for my online business.

its not a great idea to have multiple accts with FB, they can be deleted any time and if you have a lot of friend that can be sad. Also with FB you can create fan pages where you can have unlimited fans. so if you are having fanpges and also have multiple FB accts you run the risk of losing them all.

I have two facebook accounts. One is my personal account for me. The other one I created for our class. That way I could keep track of all our graduating class and use it to plan our get together picnics and stuff like that. I think some people make multiple accounts just for the games they play so they have more accounts to send themselves gifts on their games.

Yes as i know that some are creating multiple accounts on facebook and as i know their reasons are so funny. If you ask me about this.. i prefer not to do other account coz it makes confusion to others unless your account has block or being locked like what had happen to my fb account. Recently i got a problem in this kind of tricky account, someone got angry coz he thought that i am the one who did those accounts but in real i didnt. Only i do is legal with the same as like as with other account i had when my fb has been hacked. And the latest i did was also legal just to prevent my fb to open by some of my member at home.. I also do that with accidentally happen that some of the data are the same with accounts that somebody did just to ruin what i had at the same time.. well it is so confusing... The only thing that i would like to share with you is i don't like to do other illegal account just for nothing.. Better to be comfortable with what you have.

Hi, I only have one Facebook account. I use Facebook to raise money for charity. I also post Bible verses on Facebook as a ministry.

My three daughters each have at least five accounts with Facebook. I don't even have one. When asked why they have so many accounts, they said so that they can reach certain levels for the games they are playing at Facebook that requires them to send gifts or some such thing. I don't really understand what they mean but that is their reason for having multiple accounts on Facebook.

Yes as some already mentioned I do have two Facebook accounts. One only specificaly for direct offline friends and family. I do not accept anyone online to that account as they would not have anything in common with people I know offline. I do not frequent it much as I have communication with most by other means. The other one I only use to market online articles and although I do not frequent it as much either, I have online people listed there upon their request who do as me with marketing.

One is for me to meet new friends, there's lack of information there, even game partners and that's where I work with my blog also. My real account is for those who I love and that I care to share my news from time to time.

I only have one account myself but some of my friends have multiple accounts just for the apps. Most of the apps on facebook require friends to get farther into a game so instead of bothering other people, they just make another account to use.

In my opinion people create multiple accounts just because they are afraid of their family. If the family members are there in their friend list, they will not be able to do things freely. So they decide one account for family members and one for their friends where they can do anything they want. This could be the reason for multiple accounts. Secondly, the most common reason could if people forgot their password they decide to make a new FB account instead of getting the old one back. These two could be the possible reason that's what i think. But, frankly speaking i don't love to have more than one account in any social networking sites. Although i made it on Orkut but now i have deleted my all the Orkut accounts.

I think those who have multiple facebook accounts have them for these reasons : 1. For friends and family 2. For online friends and social networking with online money making opportunities 3. For games, and those online friends who play games as well. That's the only reason I could think for having those accounts.

Friend I not need multiple account in facebook because not use facebook more day by day problem is created in facebook last time my accounts was hacked.

People tend to create more accounts because of the rampant games offered on facebook their multiple accounts then serve as a booster to the one account to out level other users playing a game. Another could be that they want to spam or bully users behind a fake name so that their true identity will not be revealed to the other users.

Sometimes they have a several accounts because they don't remember their passwords or they don't know how to confirmed it and will open again another until they realized that they need to confirmed it.
