Hi,
I was just applying nail color to my nails. I was so concerned about applying it carefully. Suddenly, a thought just run through my mind. Do guys actually notice their girl friend's nail color? If so, guys, can you tell me what are your preferable colors?
Am assuming that a guy who notices the nail color will also have some likes and dislikes with respect to the color that the girl has applied.
Pour your frank opinions!
Gals, you can very well share the comments that your boy friend gives about your nail polish color!!

people have noticed my colors, I realized that, although not all said. They usually observe apparent color. When I worked in sales, I showed the products often by hand and obviously they seen a purple or gold. I tried some crazy colors and are nice when agreeable and match. Usually partners express their opinion even notice. A friend had a boyfriend bothered every time he used to see her white nails. So, they really see and often they do express choice

Though most guys wouldn't mention it, I believe they do probably notice it. One guy I dated in the past said he liked that I used the paler, more natural looking, nail colors. I heard him comment a few times about girls with the darker, and black type, polishes. He thought they looked unnatural. I think as long as the nails are done neatly, it probably doesn't matter much to most of them as long as they like the girl that's underneath that polish job. This same guy also remarked that he could tell that I took care of myself because my nails were neatly trimmed and not like some of the 'claws' (his phrase) that he saw a lot of gals with. I keep mine fairly short because of the type of job I used to have. The brighter or darker colors don't look as natural as they do with longer nails. I think us gals should use the color that makes us happy, no matter what the color :-)

Well I believe a boy really notices the color of the nail polish of their girl especially if the color is something really new and attractive. Not only that I believe they like to see their girl with well manicured hands for it makes them really feminine. This is the reason why girls spend money for good manicure and I hope boys should really learn to appreciate.

My hubby always notice the color of my nails, the style of my hair. He even appreciate how I wear clothes. In that way I'm confident in going outside, because my hubby is my number 1 fan. :-)

well men actually do emphasise on every gals' looks and nail polish and your make up is a priority for the girl to adhere to.I wear a dark red nail polish, and my colleagues have said to me it looks HOT but sometimes a bit aggresive.I personally dont mind that, but i believe pale colors like pink or ivory is Ok.

Of course my boyfriend notices my nail polish! I remember last year I had on dark plum nail polish that was almost black. When he saw my nails, he commented that Halloween was over . He then asked me what was wrong with pink or light nail polish. He likes it when I color my nails, but he's not into make up and suggests most of the time that I don't wear any when we go out.

I suppose it depends what She's doing with her hands at the time for me to notice...my lady would spend a lot of time on her long hair, which I like..Other than that, makeup wise,She'd be quite low maintenance, though I do notice her lipstick when She wears it for me..She's not into manicures and nail bars..

My husband would not notice if I painted my nails all the time. He never notices things like that, he never notices if I change my hair, or he will but it might take a day or so. I don't paint my nails very often so he might notice that they are painted, but he probably would not recall what color they are. I am sure if I painted them all the time he would not notice at all when I changed the color.

It depends. Generally, if you're pale (a term I dislike, I prefer porcelain skin) try dark red, purple, blue, or black. Contrast is key. A dark nail color with creamy skin always looks good.
