Can you think about a world without Internet?

hi das, it was time when people doesnt have to hurry. people without the internet tend to make their brains work more unlike with internet answers are already fed to you. when we need to research before, we go to the library. families get together and watch movies on weekends, eat together in restaurant. they watch tv together without worrying about the need to reply to emails and stuff in the internet. families have more time together when there was still no internet, that is what i am driving at. snail mail is the thing before which has become quite obsolete today because of the internet. but then, when you feel nostalgic, it is there .. you can hold the letter and feel every word conveyed. i say snail mail is always a labor of love. hmmmm... email? not much. yes, i can live without the internet. ann

When I was a child I didn't even know what internet was. I didn't even use the phone very much. I spent my time outside playing. Now I use the internet everyday and I'm a little fatter..... who should I sue for that? lol JK! I love the internet, but I could live without it. I would have to mentally prepare myself for that day though.

I can recall back to when there was a computer. I was taught typing in high school so I had that going for me. I worked at jobs where the equipment was partially computerized. I can't remember a time now that I haven't had the computer going daily. I recall when I did everything by hand too.

our world is so internt dependent that evething would shut down if it were to dissapear. I do not want to even think of it.

You're thinking of ARPANET, which it's concept predates me. But I grew up without Internet, we had telephone for communication, and if you wanted information, you went to the library. Now information is at our fingertips. Although I do like to unplug and stay away from the Internet when on vacation. But really you can't, just about every transaction you complete, even with a credit or debit card, uses the Internet to transmit and receive data. So can I imagine a world without the Internet for personal use? Sure, I used to live in it.

hi , i didnt know that it was made for the scientific purpose,thanks for letting me know ,how did u know that. yes nowadays without net and online things no work is happening my friend,its so much that we got used to it.

A world without internet?? wow, I can not imagine it..., I think I can't.. and I am sure the others will say same with me..., we already depend too much to this technology..,

Yes, sure! I had no access to internet when I was young (not as accessible as it is now) and things were just fine. My parents and a lot of people at home don't have internet and yes, they're fine.

I can easily imagine a world without the internet. I don't have to look that far back. Things would move alot slower that's for sure. I personally wouldn't want to loose the internet. I've tasted it's sweet honey and there's no going back.

I can't imagine my life without Internet. I work on line and seriously how I could work on ;line without Internet? I surfing in the web and this is also huge source of entertainment.

When I was a kid, we don't have Internet. Internet is not widely used in houses and in businesses. I think we will be able to live without Internet. It just takes time to get used to it. Job searching will be harder, as well as research for school homework and projects. I certainly can live without Internet. I think it'll just take time for me to get used to that new lifestyle.

Well I guess life would be like it was in the early 90's where you read from a book not that much of difference I don't think.

Nope I don't think so most of the things we do today rely on internet in one way or another. Internet make our lives much more convenient so it is hard to imagine how life will be if there's no internet! And if there's no internet I won't be able to access mylot? no no no!

Sure I can think about the world without Internet we managed without years ago so it's doable, and yeah the world would be fine without, but it sure would be boring LOL But seriously the Internet has made my life easier, and much more fun and helps me in so many ways so if the net was suddenly no longer I would not be thrilled or non-slant about it I would feel disappointed for sure and quite honestly I hope we never have to go back to the way life was without it hahaha instead I hope the technology becomes safer and less expensive for everyone.

Yes I can and cannot, why "I CAN" technically speaking, internet is not part of basic human needs unlike food and water that we drink and eat everyday right? That why I say also "I CANNOT" because one of the important needs for human not just for survival is communication. That why sometimes we can pay more than our monthly bills than our budget for food.

Wow! I don't think I can imagine a world without the glorious internet. My parents can because they don't even know how to even turn on the computer. But I need the internet for lie almost everything that I do from school research to earning to just playing games and having fun. The internet is like everything all packed in one. You don't have to even need to leave the comforts of your house and your little room. That's how great the world wide web is! I can simply shop, chat and socialize under the tips of my fingers. If there was no internet though, I guess people would see life as a bigger picture. We're pretty much sitting around, making a dent in our seats and staring at the computer. Sometimes, I wonder will technology take over our lives, it already has in a way though. But we just can't help it with all these fantastic technological opportunities.

I will still be able to live without the internet,but I think living everyday will be very boring.I will no more be able to watch my favorite videos instantly,listen to my favorite song,chat with my friends,contact my mom easily.The worst thing is there will be no mylot if there is no internet. My days are boring without mylot.:)

A world without internet is a world without an enhance knowledge for me. Internet is basically important because through this, we become knowledgeable of the current events and interesting facts and incidents scattered all around the world. Because of the internet, we had acquired knowledge that cannot be squeezed by the books. Internet helps us to experience something unique and interesting. It helps us to communicate easily and conveniently with our friends and love ones. Many works or jobs are dependent in the internet. Honestly, I admit that I can live without the internet but for sure, I cannot achieve a widened imagination without it.

I personally depend on the internet a lot but can live without it.... If you can't live without it means you are getting addicted to it which is wrong... Leaving that there are lots of regions which don't have internet services and are still backward, yet they live their life... Also with internet a country can advance faster, people can reduce communication gaps, socialize, get to know the world better and lots more, so I think internet should be spread in every nook and corner...
