I'd love to visit Paris too. I hope I get a chance to go this winter. A friend of mine wants her son to be christened in Paris where her husband's family lives. She asked me to be the godmother, so if all goes well, I think I may be going there in December. That would be so great. I do hope everything works out and that I could go. Where is our topffer? He would be the best person to tell us all about it.

I am living at 400 kms from Paris now, and I have not been there this year -- I was invited for the PhD of a friend last month, but I had some troubles here and I could not go --. I don't know where your future godson will be christened, but a visit to Notre-Dame cathedral, the square in the back and the bank of the Seine near is a definitive must see.

I've been to Europe but unfortunately I wasn't able to be in Paris. You'd ask people what dream place they have in mind, I'm sure you'll have Eiffel Tower to be on top of the list. It is yet the most romantic place anyone can ask for and french cuisine is something that one should try. Another sites I have in mind are Venice, Italy to try riding and roaming around the city with the gondola; Maldives, it is a paradise!; and the Sydney Opera House in Oz. :)

I have been to Paris a couple of times. My first visit was many years ago when I was travelling with my parents and my brother. My father, my brother and I went to the Eiffel tower together. We went all the way to the top, and it was a great feeling to stand in the top of the Eiffel tower and look at the view. We took many pictures of the view. Some years later I visited Paris with a friend, we also went to the Eiffel tower, because she had never been there before. There were a lot of people that day and we had to wait in line for a very long time, but my friend was very happy that we got the chance to visit the Eiffel tower because it had been one of her dreams for a long time.

Hi Melvin, I lived in Paris when I was a child, and worked later in Paris. I was about 5 years old the first time I went on the top of the Eiffel tower. It is the perfect place to take photos, but far from the center that you should visit too : Palais-Royal, Louvre, Notre-Dame cathedral, and why not church Saint-Sulpice and its square, in the heart of St-Germain-des-Prés, or Montmartre, if climbing on the top of this "mountain" does not scare you.

I been there I don't think it's that special and I also don't think I would go back there. I am not that crazy about big cities and Paris doesn't have the kind of things I like most. Perhaps it's different if you live their for a while. But also then I doubt if that city is more interesting as the cities in my country or other countries. The kind of people, life style etc it all has to fit you and it depends on how realistic you are if you see how a city really is or if you only see what you want to see or what people say the city is like.

Hi Melvin, I've been to Paris a couple of times....its a very very danty, beautiful, expensive place....but the sites are extremely worth the trip.. very memorble for sure....we walked so much that I had to stop and purchase a pair of nike flip flop that costed me $37.00 US dollars...but when we eventually walked to the Eiffel Tower...I was so tired I layed on the grass(about a block away) and while staring and the huge structure I took a nap...it was well deserved!!!!!! deserved!!!!!!!

I hope that you will be able to visit beautiful Paris. I was 19 years old and with my sister when I visited Paris for the first time. We took a ferry and train there. I loved seeing the Eiffel Tower and having a ride on a boat along the River Seine. I liked seeing the picturesque parks and gardens and charming looking architecture.

I am also dreaming of being there and someday i also be there!.. As long as there is life there is hope for that dreams. Most people are like to be at another places and like me my plan is to go out of my country for many purposes. First to change my environment next important is to work for my family and help my kids to support their studies. Give them what they need and the most important at all is to have my new life.. Begin another stage of my life while i am still living and enjoy those remaining days happy. I have no regrets but still i would like to experience the good things in this world that God has created for us. It was gave by Him free but because of sins our parents created "adam and eve" we need to sweat for our foods and needs.. anyway i am happy and always think positive to achieve this goal of my life. I dont want to lose hope. Only this things gives me strength and continue to live.. How i wish this dreams will come true and no need to lose hope to make it happy.. Thanks for our lives.. have a great day!

Oh I would want to go there too. I would want to travel to so many places and Paris is on the top of my list. I think that country has an elegant, romantic ambiance on it that lures people from other countries to visit it. I would want to walk there at night, with my girlfriend by my side. That would be wonderful, we would walk holding hands and those lights and amazing infrastructures would make that romantic mood. Ah I could drool now just by thinking about it! :)
