What`s your opinion on them? Do you like them? Do you have one? I think that they are one convinience. You can get some books on them not only one and on some of them you can use wi fi. I want to buy one, but in the moment don`t have enough money. What`s about you? What do you think of them?

I have Kindle wi-fi, my last Christmas present from my in-laws. I love it. I was not sure about them before I had it. I love the feel of the books and I thought I would never get used to the idea of e-reader. Now, I can't live without it. I have downloaded lots of books and it comes very handy while traveling. I don't need spaces for my books anymore. It's just a tiny little thing that fits in my bag, very convenient. Not just that, it's very useful when I am waiting for something, like waiting in the Doctor's/dentist's office, etc.

Exactly my point. Now that I have two kids, I need all the space I can get especially while traveling. With the prices coming down everyday, I think you'll be able to buy one soon. They are worth it.The best part is, there are lots of free e-books that you can download. I have paid for only one book. The rest are free download.

If you can't yet afford one of the machines, the software is available to download (free) to a laptop or computer so you could read the books that way until you can get one..or you could try free ebook sites like project Gutenberg's which is also useful! I was shopping yesterday and saw a demo model of the new smaller (and cheaper!) kindle..good luck with your decision when you get to buy..You'll probably have even more choice of machines to consider soon!

I don`t need software for my laptop, because i want to use an electronic book when i`m outside, in the bus for work for example, and i can`t bring my laptop in that setuation. I`m gonna wait some months to have enough money and i will buy an electronic book.

true, one of the main advantages of an ebook reader is the portability of the gadget..it frees you from needing a computer when you're moving around..

I also like normal books, but not always you can read them or bring all of them that you want.

I do use my PC and ipad to read, but frankly I prefer to hold the paper in my hand and scribble on them. Maybe it is because I read technical books, not fiction. I do think they have some usefulness. You can carry many books with you wherever you go. I cannot imagine carrying "real printed books". I need to be a muscle man. I believe the prices are coming down. Why not wait a while before you invest in one?

It`s normal for the prices to go down especialy on the older models. I will wait, because i don`t have other way, i can`t aforded it in the moment.

I use my iPad or iPhone to read e-books. It is very convenient for me, at least I don't have to buy an e-book reader. I am very addicted to e-books, I usually read a book a day and I have been collecting e-books for a year now. If you are going to buy an e-book reader, I suggest you buy Kindle. It's the best out there.

I think they are pretty neat. You can stock your entire library in one. It's not heavy life a 1000 page book, and it does not take up a lot of space. I think the issue can be people liking the touch, the way they move to the next page, the covers, of real books. It's something that some people cherish a lot and that enriches their reading experience. I for one support e-book readers but also like to read normal books.

Yes a very handy gadget to keep in ones pocket. A tool that can keep many hundreds of book ready to read at a moments notice on any journey. book shelves are no longer needed for many of our favourite book as we pass away the time to our destinations.

I love ebooks. They're very convenient and I have lots of them. I am a bookworm and thanks to today's technology, I don't have to won large space to store my books. Paper books are heavy to carry as well. Ebook also helped me when I started reading again after a very long gap. With a toddler dangling on my leg, I don't have the luxury to curl with a paper book in my hands.

I have some electronic books. Actually i still prefer reading the 'real' books than read the electronic one. But, i have to admit that electronic book is really convenient especially with the space we are needed. With electronic book we dont need big room to keep our collection but with real book we need biger room to keep them. So for this point electronic book is better than the real book. ^_^

I like e-books, it is handy and no handling cost. As our home size is not like library, it is much more convenient to have e-book. I often look for free e-book through internet. You can find it a lot in internet
