Belonging to the health team, how do nurses cope up with the unemployment in the Philippines? i heard that the government has banned voluntary work at the hospitals and nobody's hiring them. How can the nurses gain experience? What happened to those unemployed nurses?

For unemployed nurses, gaining experience is usually through volunteer work, which does not provide you any income. Right now, the Philippines government continues with the NARS program that send nurses to towns and provinces who are in need of nurses. Aside from clinical work, you can also try nursing research work and community nursing. If you're interested in going to different places in the Philippines, community nursing might suit you.

Let's face the reality that there's an over population of nurses here in our country. Voluntary work must be banned for their own good. Imagine, nursing course alone is too expensive and by the time they graduate still they need to pay for voluntary work in the hospital! It's injustice! Government must do something for this. Schools must be banned also for having a high fees for nursing subjects..

I hear in sime other countries, nursing has very good job opportunities. There are shortages of nurses in hospitals and clinics. I suppose, if there is shortage of job possibilities for nurses in the Philippines, they could try possibilities in foreign countries.

Same happens here too but also with other jobs. The reason behind it seems to be that if you use these "volunteerers" they won't pay others that easy anymore.
So no volunteerer should be used in a job that should be payed for. It's only allowed/accepted if they don't have the same education but even then it's frequently not accepted.
The only experience you will get is if you are still in your education time. After that it's finished. Nobody will hire you if they don't have the money. So if you don't find a job you studied for nothing and it all was a waste of time and money.
This is exactly what happens over here with so many people who studied or finished their education. No job, no experience and nobody is interested so no job..
