Sad tragedy of the Revilla's

Hello Lotters, I guess am too late now giving this story but I think it's not too late to give my view on this. My mom and her organization has actually seen Ram in previous events, introducing himself to the people of Imus because he really wanted to take the political path. another thing is that my high school buddy is with him in one of his posters, specially during his birthday. Revilla's being popular political clan and showbiz alike, dominating most of Cavite, thought it was just another family. Until this happens, who would have thought greed also exist between siblings. I mean, kill him just because of jealousy and the one million allowance problem thing? MONEY can really influence people to do the worst things, even to family members. Sometimes, i feel blessed despite of our not so fortunate with money, we learn to save and prioritize what's important. or we would have end up like this family.. I don't know about the suspects, What do you think?? In my view, i think the siblings did it..such life wasted

Do you really think they can do it with their brother? I don't know much about their relationship with each other, but maybe I have to believe with the investigators are saying. Especially hearing about the statements of the village security guard and Rams' secretary that strengthen the testimony of his girlfriend, Janelle. I am as well glad we aren't so blessed with so much fame and wealth. I am satisfied with what we have.

I agree with you. Before, I thought if you have money the only problem you will have to face is where would you spend your money. This only proves the saying that money is the root of all evils. I hope people will be just contented on what they have. Our world is not becoming a better place because of too much greed. I do not agree with what the lawyer of Ramona is saying. The police is not rushing the investigation. It's just that all the clues are pointing to Ram's brother. If all the clues are laid there, what else the police should do but to arrest the doers of the crime. Anyway, who knows what you can do when you feel so much hatred to someone. Maybe Ramona and Joseph has been angry with their older brother for years now, and what they feel has already taken its toll so they killed Ram. The world indeed is not becoming a better place to live. You cannot even trust your own family nowadays.

True... fortunately we don't have someone like that in the family. The lawyer is just finding ways for the family not to believe it was made by the siblings.

Well, the latest news is that Ram's sister has already escaped and left for Hong-Kong. I guess this strengthens the case against the siblings now. If she she ain't guilty then why did she left the country? here is the link: http://abc.trending-today.com/7005/updated-ramona-bautista-leaves-country-for-hong-kong-senator-bong-revilla-says-his-sisters-departure-is-sign-of-guilt/

I've read the news last day about this. Yes, if she's innocent she did not even attend the internment of her brother. What kind of sister she is...

A lot of bad things spring from our lack of control over our emotions. I am not in any position to say who did it. But we can only speculate. Money is not evil. It is our inability to use it for goodness that leads us to commit even the worst of crimes. We should pray for abundance, so we have more to share.

Though I heard a lot of stories about Bautista/Revilla family, i still cannot accept the fact that the primary suspects for the murder was the victim's brother and sister. But the evidence are strong enough to convict Ram's brother. Would you imagine, at the very young age, you will hire a killer to kill your own brother? That's a disgrace with Revilla clan. I also saw the video of Ramona but I think nobody believes in her anymore. And the main reason for the murder is money.

Hi Letran, Money: it is the root of all..... I would like to wish for a better way to end the statement but alas, it is always the same. Unfortunately, here I am, spending what was left of my days pursuing this elusive endeavor, to get as much as I can before my time runs out. Now, let this be a lesson: it can never really bring one much happiness. Instead it could lead one to despair and damnation as the case of Ramgen Revilla, et al, graphically illustrates. Personally I am not really at a position whudunit, as I was not there. It may take the whole cast of my favorite CSI casts to solve the crime, for now we're still in the dark and media hype won't solve anything but offer speculations, aggravating the pain of the senator's family.

As of today, the latest news is that those 9 children with that former actress, were also given each a car. The allowance of 1 Million is aside from the allowance for the mothet. In fact, it is in the news today that the mother has more than 2Million debt in credit cards. This was even revealed by Ram to her father Ramon Sr. I can say, that because Ram was the one who is more or less worried of how the siblings as well as the mother are into so much money , he was killed so the one of them will be the one who will manage the 1Million. The mother herself is maybe angry with Ram for having told his father about her debt. Indeed, having too much money could make other people greedy. They are insatiable. I just hope Ram could be given due justice and the prime witness, Jenelle can unravel what really happened that night. People can really become greedy when they have so much money.

I don't think his siblings have any part in the murder. No matter how mad you can get over your brother or sister, I don't think you can commit cold blooded murder. The sad thing about this case is that it is becoming a circus as the days pass and the police are like fortune tellers. The police here in country seem to put more importance in bringing up names, or any name just to prove that they are doing their jobs even if those people that they present to the media are innocent. When I learned that the police that are handling the case are the Paranaque police, I can only sigh in dismay over what they are doing by producing one bogus suspect after another.

I just hope that the accusations are not true. It is sad and family is still family.

Hi Letran, I've heard about this but I didn't know the details. But right now I'm watching the news just as I'm opening your post, and have watched the feature on Ram Revilla. It is sad when families break apart, and it's even worse when this happens because of greed and envy among family members- though this fact still remains unclear. Surely the entire nation will be this following coz it's such a high profile case.

It really gives confusion, I don't know too who is telling the truth... I was so amazed with the 1 million allowance every month. If is spent wisely he colud have done a lot of good things out of it. That can also be the cause of jealousy.

hello LK, I was stunned after reading the follow up report of this matter either. How could they ever do that to their youngest brother...to think that their family is never involved or I haven't heard any bad news about the Revilla clan. And here comes this very shocking news Yes...really a shocking news.

We don't really know for sure who did it and why. It would be a pity if his siblings really had something to do about. You're right, such a wasted life. But, I would still like to believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, after all, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. But that is under our human laws, and the persons who are really guilty can get away with it. But, I believe that in the end, it's between the guilty person and his conscience, and him (or them) and God.

there are plenty of reasons and angles to whatever the cause of incidents... as for the old saying goes: "The suspect remains innocent unless proven guilty" the court i think will decide it, we will have to listen to the latest news about the update... presenting more massive and clear evidences, then the near truth shall prevails....

I am in denial and cannot really say or give out a 100% opinion on who migh have done this to the poor boy. But I do think you have a point in here about families fighting over money and power, etc. Who would have thought that them being blessed with such an allowance monthly with no hardwork required like we all have to do... they still are able to think of doing such a bad thing to the person who they supposedly love. They are brothers and sisters and if this is true and the siblings are proven guilty... wow I think the family would be even on their toes looking at each other with a puzzled look if their other siblings have the same intention on them. =(
