TV and Food

Every night at dinner time we always watch TV, it could be a movie or some series or the food channel. It seems like eating and watching TV goes hand in hand. On Sundays we always pick out a movie and have Pizza and chicken nuggets, it's kind of a ritual. Do you have a favorite TV food or do you eat in the dining room without the pleasure of TV

yeah during my school days (primary mostly/elementary for US) i usually had my dinner in front of the TV...because the good programme usually on about 8pm.. so i took a small table for kids..and bring my plate and glass and ate my dinner rite there watching the show. i often bought my self TV DINNER..a very popular instant dinner back in the 80s and probably since the late 60s..just put in the oven..and ready to eat while watching tv..

I don't have a particular food that I enjoy eating in front of the television. I eat whatever sounds good at the time. I normally eat my dinner in front of the computer or sometimes in front of the television. Tonight I ate my dinner in front of the computer. I have not watched television yet today.

We have several TV shows we like to watch on certain days. We too eat in the living room and watch TV. There are no special foods that we eat along with watching TV.

Sounds like fun. With the economy the way it is, it would be too hard to have certain foods for fun times like movies at home or TV at home. We use to have popcorn while watching tv. That is when our kids were still at home.

We always do that during Saturdays and Sundays with my family. We usually eat pop corn or sometimes native delicacies. I think it's some kind of a tradition for us or everybody if I am not mistaken.

Yes, some days, when I have the time to spend, I would watch TV, movies, news, game shows, and so on, while having dinner. That is a very relaxing way. My favorites are games shows, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and so on. Movies once in a while.

I eat in the dining room and sometimes turn the tv on- just to watch news or something... But when i watch a movie, I also eat. it's usually bread and coffee, or some other snacks like junk food or biscuits. Watching movies are just more fun if you have food to eat.

We do this everytime especialy that we are watching our favorite tv series... but my mother in law think that we could no longer enjoy our meal because of this. And of course, we sit at the dinner table for so long.

The only time we sit at the dining table is when my mom comes to visit, me and her have our morning coffee there and then our dinner. That's mostly because our sofa is so low and she has a hard time sitting there and eating
