I think that the most important thing to do is to play to your strengths. I surf the net everyday, looking for new ways to make a dollar. Sites like Ebay.com allow you to sell items you might have in your home. Look into how this site works. If you have an account with them, you can start selling things, all kinds of things people want to buy. Ebay charges a small fee for listing your items on their site, but its extra money you can make. If you like to write articles, poetry, or blog, you can get a few extra dollars doing so online too. Search for sites that are looking for writers. Another thing you can do is go back to school online! This is a good way to make your time worth while as you said. If you can't pay for school, you can get loans that you don't have to pay back until you graduate. In the meantime, you will receive a check every 6 to 8 weeks. Earn while you learn. I think I can understand how you feel.. as I am a single mom myself and I have stayed at home for the initial 2 years when my baby is born. It's hard and difficult on the initial part, and I do earn some income from MyLot. Besides, I have a blog for online assignments, and also doing some freelance work such as accounting and baking.
