I'm a real Movie Buff! I think it's good therapy to watch movies that take my mind off my own real life problems. Escaping to the movie world, is just another way for me to relax. Watching movies also gives me fresh ideas and...

Yes. I write as well, and movies give me so many ideas! Some movies I watch and at the end, I'm like..."what the heck kind of ending was that?" You must challenge your own writing ability after asking that question.

These are classic reasons for watching movies. I can watch the same movies over and over if theyre good. When I feel down, or broken, a favorite movie lifts me up, even though I know it's not real.

It's 2012, and there's still racism and hate. Racism and hate starts at what point in our lives? As children, being raised to hate? Or, after a bad experience? What do you think?

That's right. I ran into a white couple the other day, and they were pulling their little boy behind them in a wagon. The parents scowled at me, but the baby boy was smiling big as day at me. So sweet and innocent. Wonder how he will grow up thinking.

Unfortunately, I think there will always be racism. We will achieve a certain amount of equality one person at a time. Some people will never change though.

It's interesting that advice givers sometimes find it difficult to advise themselves. I am asked for advice at least 2 to 3 times a week. People somehow trust my opinions and advice. I enjoy the moments when I advise someone, and...

I understand. I have a son like you. So many women ask him for advice. I guess they see him as a good guy. He knows a lot about women from watching me. Advisors usually don't ask people if they need advice. People look for you to advise them.

Listening is just as important as advice giving. People need to vent their fears and frustrations without others interrupting them. So, that's good ehlsie!

Yes! There's nothing wrong with not knowing the answers ourselves. I'm not judgemental either. I'm just down to earth and try to be as real as possible, without hurting anybody's feelings.

Yes, it's case to case. But, that's what I said earlier. Advisors sometimes find it hard to advise themselves.

Exactly. The decision is still up to those we advise. Advice is just opinions and/or ideas. I like getting advice. I don't seem to get much of it from my family. Never really have.

There's nothing wrong with asking for advice when you usually give it. People respect you when you do that. It just lets them know, you don't think you're perfect. Good for you!
