life now and life before?

hey, the more we go ahead in the technology, the more comfort we live in this modern world. So it will make easy to be with cellphones etc.

frankly very interesting discussion. I sometimes wonder why people before they could without a PC without internet. apparently because we get used to this net rather than a computer. I do not know what to think because I'm the same when I do net wonder what happens if I want and I'm constantly on the computer. it is still nice when working on the computer and make money rather than just sitting for fun but most use it for just that. I sit on the computer as I sit here in mulot. interesting discussion. nice day!

Maybe because people always want to innovate them selves and do things at easier and faster way. Maybe it is also because of Steve Jobs that makes us realize that we cannot live now without those gadgets and its been a part of our daily life. Before when we send message through letters it may take weeks before it arrive to the person but now in just seconds to send message through cellphone. Before we use typewriter to encode things and preciseness is really needed to avoid mistakes but for the use of computer we can now even commit many mistakes on encoding but still we can edit it. Maybe before these gadgets are not rampant on that century and only those who have the money can buy so people before is being contented without these gadgets. But now we use these gadgets because we doesn't want to be left out of others and been a part of our lives.

Because that's the people's trend. And most of the people rely on technology, that's why the absence of those things, it's hard for them to live.

Who are those people you talk about? There are enough people who live without a cellphone or computer. Or people who do have it but don't let their life be ruled by this stuff. BTW live was not easy as we did not had a cellphone or computer. We had hard times to reach someone in time and were forced to have a phone which was not always easy since you can't have it everywhere. Still can't. Also you find hardly a cellphone or internetcafe in the country where I live. I think computer is a good way to get all the info you want, to educate yourself, to meet people all over the world (even if you don't have the money to travel) and it is also doing a lot of work for you or a company (banking, buying stuff, checking prices, making reservations etc etc). For those with less social contacts, who are ill it's also a way to contact to the world, to speak to people once in a while or daily. Thanks to computer and cellphone we are able to have social contacts, stay in touch with family/friends far away and it only takes us a few minutes to reach them.

I think if electronics didn't exist people would go nuts. I think the reason we rely on electronics so much these days because it's faster. Before computers and cell phones existed, people had to mail letters. Now, you can just email, text, chat, etc. quicker than a minute.
