My four year old granddaughter is going to be on tv

She auditioned for Sprout Network, it's a tv station on cable and satellite tv for young children. She is filming this, coming Monday, and we are so excited!!! She is such a ham and she cannot wait to see herself on tv!

It's a commercial to promote the television station, not in a show. She has some lines to learn but not really memorize as, at her age, they will help her and prompt her.

It is owned by PBS and they are located in Philly, not far from me, so the ride to shoot it is not a long one.

She has been talking about it for days. Her mom, my daughter, was able to take off to take her. That is good because of her work, she misses out on many things that my granddaughter does. I do not mind being there for her, but I know, as a mom, that you want to be a part of it.

That must be a big thrill, it is not easy to be lucky enough these days to shine even for such a short time on TV, it can be a big confidence builder for a kid.
